Final Fantasy 13-2 takes place three years after the last game. Lightning and Snow are missing, and after an encounter with a mysterious boy named Noel, Serah, Lightning's sister, begins her journey to find them. Now, everyone that thought Serah would never amount to anything but "that useless secondary character in Final Fantasy 13", can now see differently. Serah is actually in your battle party using a bow to fight enemies. It also seems that other secondary characters are getting bigger parts too. Many Final Fantasy fans are hoping that 13-2 is not another sequel like X-2, where it did not live up to the previous game. However, it does not seem to be the case. In this new game, they kept the same battle system as the last game, but added cinematic battle actions to make cutscenes more interactive. With it's vast world designs, beautiful graphics, and unique battle system, 13-2 will definitely be worth the wait for the always excited Final Fantasy lovers. Final Fantasy XIII-2, Serah's usefulness, Lightning's awesomeness, and her oh-so cool summoning of Odin are due to hit North America on January 31, 2012.

Not sure who wrote this, but is very poorly written. Most is opinionated, and I feel it should be completely re-written. I am someone that has never played the series and this article gives me no hint on whether or not I would play it, how the game works, or what it is about. If i knew "the last game" as it is referred to as, I would probably completely understand this article. It gives poor plot details, no character descriptions and has no facts other than the date it came out in the United States.
