As we hire new staff into this great department we need to make sure that everyone has an exceptional level of how this department operates and what is involved with earning these badges of honour on a members Forums Profile. Allow me to introduce the Buddy System and the layout of how this system will work. 1. A new hire will be paired up with a Senior AAP Staff member or an existing AAP Member who has been chosen for their high level of knowledge. 2. The new hire and the chosen AAP Staff member will liaise throughout the first week on at least 3 occasions to to go over the guide to the AAP topic and answering all and any questions the new hire may have, they should go over the Staff Only Area and give them a tour of the topics specifically for Staff to use. 3. Once the new hire is confident with the guide to the AAP, the chosen AAP Staff should take them through ALL awards and their descriptions while routinely quizzing them on what they should have learned by this point. 4. The chosen AAP Staff should be updating the Head/Co-Head with the new hires progress after every meeting and feedback any concerns immediately. 5. The Head/Co-Head will take the new hire through a set of intermediate questions at the end of the training about operations of the department also awards and their descriptions/requirements. 6. In the rare case that the chosen AAP Staff has put the new hire forward as 'fully trained' and the Head/Co-Head find this to not be the case, the chosen AAP Staff members abilities may be put under scrutiny. 7. If at any point either the chosen AAP Staff or the new hire have any concerns about ANYTHING, they should get in touch with first available leader they can.
