Name: KSI xKing 77

Account: @xKing 77

Award: Outstanding Service LV1

King has demonstrated what is takes to bring a squad back to life. When i first came back to Samurai to January the squad was a 20 members and things were not looking good for Samurai. He promoted the right people to get the job and the squad has succeeded beyond everyone's exceptions. King is always there to answer any questions that arise within the squad. I'm pretty sure he has the handbook memorized  He has also been a join mod while holding the General spot. He has now been promoted to a Co-Founder and did a great job organizing the spring break teams in a timely matter. This member has been back in KSI for 3 years and I'm sure there is plenty more he has done. He deserves this award.

  • Chief Operating Officer

I met King back in 2014 back then he was xFatality. An in my first time being Gen he was my Co-founder. An he was always there for me when I needed advice or just some KSI knowledge that I didn't know. Now fast forward three years I rejoined KSI in Samurai LW an I didn't do much of anything honestly. But then one day I got a party invite from him an he was telling me about all the ideas he had for the squad. And at first I told him I'd think of them. Well I decided what the hell let's hit the ground running an we did with Kings motivational skills we took Samurai from the low 20s to the mid 50s in a matter of a few months. I feel like King assembled the dream team of officers for the squad. An when I say this next part I truly mean this there was a time in 2017 where I didn't feel like I really fit in with everyone else in the squad an I was mere hours away from stepping away from KSI but King he talked me off that proverbial cliff. An now we're here in 2018 where I'm the Gen of Samurai an we still have that dream team of officers for the squad. An all of this wouldn't be possible if it wasn't for Kings outstanding service when it came to motivating each an every one of us.

I believe that King deserves this award, all around. When he was King he made sure to produce more Gamenights, he retrains people who personally ask him, even if it's not someone in his squad, while he's been a Co Founder he's always down to immediately get into action, he isn't afraid to make sure people know what they're doing, he's always down to go help members and make sure people have the knowledge they need to be a leader. King is outstanding example of what a leader should be inside a divisional leadership role.

King is a dynamic fella, has had some real ups and real downs in this community but he has always stayed the course. Not to long ago he lead KSI to our first division split (CD) in over 2 years and really inspired a lot of growth and competion within the community. He kind of burned himself out leading DR from scraps to split and had to reboot. he remained a join mod and just rebooted for a bit. not to long after he rejoined clan ops to hang out and soon enough was bit by the leadership bug, now as a cofo in DW he is again proving the despite some mistakes or going to hard in the past he like all great leaders in history got back up after falling and has not stopped since. He is a knowledgeable and respectable leader who deserves this award

From all his stories King definitely had some ups and down in KSI. I was in DR when King was div leader. Although never being able to meet him. I was definitely in the sidelines watching. He led DR to a division split which created CD. I always look at king as a very motovational person. He put in so much work to DR that sadly he had to step away from KSI for a while but fast forward to today King is back and is the Co Founder in DW, now for him to achieve that type of leadership he definitely has to work hard and he did he took Samurai which was a small squad and made a big active squad with great officer, now that took a lot of time but he pulled through it. And that is why King deserves to be known and recognized for his Outstanding service within KSI.

Where to begin.

Due of the most recent divisional merging of DR and LW, I have had the pleasure to work with this long lasting member of KSI. Though we come from 2 different paths, I see a lot of commonalities and for that, I am here to witness. I had stated before that King was a long lasting member of the community. Once an ES member, then to LW, then DR, CD after his return to Clan Ops, back to LW and now finally in DW. Man, that's a lot of history. A lot of KSI experience. What I find most peculiar is that if he had stayed in DR, then he might've been my Director.

Now I know of his past but that's only because since the divisional merge I have talked with him in a substantial amount of parties which had a lot of depth. As far as what he's done within DW in a short time of it's existence is completely remarkable. He quickly rose up the ranks to command the squad Samurai. This was only 1 of 2 squads which resided in the DW merge (from LW's side) so it had high standards to live up to if they didn't want the legacy of LW dying off. Surprisingly he took it upon himself (as one of the most knowledgeable Generals) to not only provide a structure of leadership for his own squad, but also for the other 2 Generals who saw him as a brother of the cause. Whether King likes it or not, he became a nice crutch for the squad to fall back on. He developed his own style of how he wanted Samurai run and over the course of a few months it's numbers grew in one of the healthiest ways possible. Squad event activity arose from nowhere and member retention followed. The atmosphere Samurai created for late night gamer within DWs was unmatched as Elysium favored afternoons and Hannibal equally favoring all times of the day. Again, this type of atmosphere would not be possible if not for Kings unique mentality on how he takes it upon himself to act as the squad should be run.

Soon enough he earned his rank to Co-Founder and got the chance to bring the KSI friendly atmosphere he grew within Samurai to expand among all of DW. He's supported DW from start to finish and because of that and his unique personal assets he bring to the table, DW has another outlet for stability. A lot of other things he does kind of look like this:

- He actively runs the Rejoin Section as a Moderator.

- Reached 7's staff (that I personally know of) in LW and DR.

- Helped and supported the DR, CD division split. Mind you its was the first one in years.

- Has gone out of his way to pay for name changes in the divisions he's been a part of and also recently in DW has purchased members a few games so they can socialize with the squad better.

- Has attained the ranks of PVT - Division Leader (PVT - Gen multiple times).

- Member of AAP team.

- Division in mind, one of the most fluent forums users in DW.

- He continues to deal with issues flawlessly, including being open minded, and seeking out the best solution.

This time around I know King will exceed the standards of his past. New division, new hopes. He will go farther in this community than he already has, because his mindset pushes him to show out for the community and DW in turn. He's a very seasoned and level headed leader, and I wish the best for him as he revolutionizes the difference between his past and his future.
