KSI EXODUS 7 31
I was first Recruited in March of 2011 By a Guy named KSI Phenix 7,he actually told me about everything back when we are in high school. Honestly i had no idea what i was getting myself into. I changed my name the same day and Became a SGT in Guanine Double Helix (DH). I remember all i could think about was not messing up and making sure i remembered everything i needed. Once Guanine Split I ended up getting promoted to Carbon DH with another guy who was suppose to mentor me but he was nowhere to be found. That is ironically when id meet this loud mouth named KSI Arc 7 who was like a tag team partner in Carbon DH, Him being General and me as 1 CPT there wasnt another duo that could touch us. I was pulled out of Carbon DH to take over a failing squad named Toxic DH, which was my baby, that squad was turned from 30 to 70 in a little under a month. KSI Villian 7 aka KSI Skirilla was my CPT who was also a power house by himself. i had a lot of fun at that time, KSI Butterz 7 Co-founder KSI Legion 7 as Founder KSI Duski as Co-Division Leader and KSI Phenix 7 as Division leader along with KSI Royal as Director and KSI Stryker 7 as Senior, At this time we were still in Seven 7 Era KSI. The following Christmas of that same year was bitter sweet because i was promoted to Co-founder. DH was well within the 400's which at the time was a marvel because divisions split around that time. DH took a big hit that Christmas, Already losing our Co-Division leader from a Demotion. Five Generals hit the Division at once dropping the numbers in what seemed like a few hours. ontop of that our whole upper leadership was gone except Myself and Arc 7. it was upon us to really mature as Co-founders and really be more than average. KSI Apocalypse 7 mentored from that point on he taught me a lot of things about the Community i didnt know about, also recruiting me into Internal Affairs. He is the primary reason im still around, i would of been lost in the cause if he didnt step in and help DH out. Inevitably Double Helix could not hold any longer, And it had to be shut down. I was Double Helix last Founder before we were transferred to Divine Reign. Once KSI Arc 7 was promoted to Division Leader id eventually take the rank of Co-Division leader still learning still reflection on my past experience to help me prepare for what was to come next. When Arc Stepped down it was my inevitable time to shine as Divine Reign's new Division Leader. It was a special rank to me because i didn't think id get that high up in the ranks after all id been through. I was also elevated to Internal Affairs Staff, months later finally taking on the full title of Internal Affairs Co-head under the leadership of KSI Apocalypse 7 of course . I also participated in the first 7's Head Hunters team and placed number 1 on the team. Mid way through my time of being Division Leader i had finally been accepted as a Court Judge which i felt was another bench mark for me because i was now fully diverse in Clan ops as well as Web ops. Despite my failure to split Divine Reign in my time of being Division Leader i am always working to perfect the people within and help them better themselves, having fun has always been my true goal for this Division, i feel like as long as that is being accomplished everything will follow. Over the months and years we have taken many hits but we have always found a way to grow stronger the next time. Hate it or love it i'm proud to be the longest running Division Leader, it will be 2 consecutive years this December of 2014 Along with my 4 year mark soon after in the Community. Scotland 523
History in KSI In August 2013, I met some KSI members from Echo, LS while playing some halo reach. I met KSIxGoddess, KSI XxNIRVANAxX and KSI 1jellydonut and KSI Homicide. After the swat match (which I wooped them in) they left me high and dry by myself. Being the lonely person that I was, I messaged KSIxGoddess asking if I could hook up with them and play some games. I played all day with them, Watched them recruit, orientate and train people and run gamenights. I listened to them answer questions and train people for officer ranks. I attended a meeting and around 4gamenights. On 31st of August 2013, when noone was online, I changed my gamertag to KSIxScotland and added the squad tag, made my forums account and set myself up. Yes, I dont really have a recruiter. As soon as I Was accepted onto the squad tag, I started doing work. I assisted my general (KSIxGoddess) in sorting teams out for weekend warfare, while recruiting people. I started becoming more involved with the running of the squad by the end of my first day. I hosted my first gamenight that night too. I received my first promotion on the 2nd of September to SSGT. This had alot of people up in arms, and yelling about how new I was. In particular KSI 1jellydonut, he did not want someone trying come up the ranks as quickly as people were predicting I would. This was also the day I met my first 7 (Jezrien) who kicked me out a party for not being a high enough rank. That one made me question what I had gotten myself into. Upon learning every ounce of knowledge from the foums, I started doing workshops, multiple each week. Upon my 21st Day of being in KSI I received my 2nd Promotion to 4th Lt. This again lead to all the officers throwing their arms in the arm and demanding my demotion. I was in the party when this all went down, and I watched my still General KSIxGoddess defend her decision to promote me, however once again I questioned what I had gotten myself into. I saw that these people really did not want me there, and they did not want me moving up over them. Echo was sitting around 90 members here and ready for a squad split. At this point KSI 1jellydonut received his promotion to 4th Captain, and KSIxGoddess was promoted to Co-Founder and changed her name to KSI Shivah 7. KSI TheDoughnut (KSI 1jellydonut) was born from a name change. KSIxArchang3l was promoted to General of Echo. After 14Days of me being in my Lt posistion I got another promotion to 4th Captain. KSI The Doughnut moved up to 3rd Captain and KSI Homicide moved to 2nd Captain. KSI Direwolf 7 stepped down from Co-Div of LS into Echo and took on the 1st Captain posistion. Myself, Archang3l and Direwolf become a closenit team, we did everything together and had everything down pat. After KSI Lokii 7 stepped down from Founder and KSI Zan 7 moved up to Founder, KSI Jezrien 7 moved up to Co-Div and Archang3l moved to Co-Founder and changed his name to KSI Seraphim 7. KSI Direwolf 7 was promoted to General. KSI Homicide and KSI Thedoughnut were demoted to 3rd and 4th Captains respectivly. I was then promoted to 2nd Captain. The other officer argued alot, and I hate drama. As a result of this, I would go recruiting by myself and I would spend alot of time with my higher leadership, Direwolf 7 and Shivah 7. I started taking on alot of responsibilies within the squad and eventually my general was removed from his posistion and I got General on the 12th of December 2013. From there things went pretty hectic. KSI Homicide changed his name to KSI Bill. KSI Thedoughnut refused to be under me and transfered to Fallen. Fast forwarding a few months, Most of my officers quit on me, and I was left with one captain called KSI RockDaWorld. We ran the squad just me and him and our active member base, He was put down as the next general and so I sent this member a laptop so he could get G14 and forums access when the promotion came around. Eventually after Rock got was a captain for about 3months he disappeared and went MIA. (Sadface) I got another up and coming officer staff, one of the guys that stuck out was KSI D3Struction, he got up to 3rd Captain and again, went MIA. KSI Jezrien 7 and KSI Zan 7 left LS and we were left with 2 Co-Founders. KSI Shivah 7 went up to Founder and KSI Seraphim 7 was still hanging in there. Now, this is the more recent history. I moved Echo from the Last Halo Reach Squad, to Halo 4, getting it with the rest of the community so we could pariticipate with everyone else. KSI Prophet 7 joined Last Strike as a Co-Founder, he stuck around for all of a month and a half. And then went into an advisor role and eventually left. KSI Sinister 7 transfered to Last Strike after the possibily of Shivah Stepping down, which she unfortunatly did. Sinister came over as Co-Division leader. Spirit week came around, and boy were we ready. As The only Halo General in the division I was thrown into the fray for the halo events. We came into the Swat tournaments with 2 strong teams, Our first team, I was head of. Myself (KSIxScotland) KSI AppleHammer and KSIxUmbreon (sadly has left KSI) were on the first team, and the second team was LeMasterChief17, KSI Spaghetti and KSI xTENABLEx10. The second team was knocked out of the tournament after the second round. But I lead our swat team to the final and Victory for LS! It was a hard final, with us against the reigning champions GZ, but we pulled off the win! (we kicked their butts) We came 2nd in spirit week in 2014, and noone saw us coming! We were the smallest division at the time, and went toe to toe with the bigg 500 member strong divisions. Moral of that story, the little guy isnt the weakest, dont underestimate them. KSI Seraphim 7 went MIA for almost a month and a half before he came out with the fact he was going to boot camp. Seraphim then stepped down And that is when I got my oppurtunity, After 8months and like 28days, I got my promotion to Co-Founder on the 4th of august 2014. KSI Spaghetti got General behind me, and things went on like usual. The division TW was merged into LS and We all of a sudden had 6squads. Echo, Desolate, Fallen, Impulse, Trocity and Nemesis. At some point during this merge I was given the position of News Team Co-Head I only was in this posistion for 2-3weeks due to my clan ops responsibilites. At this point KSI Spaghetti stepped down as general of Echo and my baby was put into the capable hands of my Teacher KSI Sinister 7. Only 3of these squads had An active general and officer staff. We merged Fallen into Impulse and Merged Nemesis and Desolate together to create Alliance. I took on this squad to help build it up into a powerhouse of a squad. I had wanted to use the name Exiled, but due to the nature of that Names previous useage, I was told to try using the name after a successfull squad split. Now, KSI xTENABLEx10 is General over Echo, and he has tested my knowledge in many ways, making me feel usefull as a leader in this division. Honestly thats all I can think of right now. I know there is more, probably things I dont want to think of/ things I have forgotten. I wont say my time in KSI has been easy, Definatly not easy, I have lost alot of friends and had alot of people make alot of my time difficult. Not once has leaving this community been an option on the table as I look at the bigger picture. My goal and what I preach to people is: I aim to create a safe and fun gaming enviroment for my Boys&Girls to utilise whenever they want. KSI Nuclear 7 4
My Name is Jameson (gt: KSI Nuclear 7). I started out in KSI on the 23rd of September, 2012 as a member of Defcon CO on MW3. I was introduced to KSI through KSI Thumbsticks who I met in a random MW3 match and he invited me to play xbox 360 minecraft with him. He invited me to his KSI server where I played with other members of his squad, and after a week of gaming with them I was asked to join their squad. I was recruited by KSI Xx PanicxX into Defcon of which KSI Shade 7 was the current General. With the release of Black Ops 2 I was transferred to Sabotage CO and while I was there I became a staff sergeant and then a 4th Lt. Shortly after being transferred over to Sabotage KSI Shade 7 (the Gen of Defcon) left KSI and was replaced by KSI Xx Panic xX. Eventually Panic also left along with thumbsticks and I found myself in a new squad where I literally didn't know a single other person. Sabotage wasn't a very active squad at that time either, and despite the few people that were active in the squad at the time the squad was merged into Enigma. When Sabotage CO merged into Enigma CO I became a Captain, but once again due to a lack of activity the squad was merged with Foxtrot in an attempt to keep the active members of both squads active. After the merging of Foxtrot CO and Enigma CO into Stealth CO I stayed as a Captain. After being a Captain in Stealth for a few months some unforeseen circumstances resulted in me becoming the General of Stealth CO. From there I became a Co-Founder over Covert Ops, and after a few months as Co-Founder I became a Founder over CO. I've been in Covert Ops throughout my entire KSI career and have enjoyed a decent portion of it . I look forward to seeing what CO becomes in the future and how KSI as a whole develops. Cero 7
So I got bored and decided I'd work on one of these before I finally forget everything. Furthermore lets get started, in November 11th 2005 I joined a squad KSI Gunmetal XK through my friends KSI Hypnotize and Mesmerize(they were twins and the two best doubles halo 2 players KSI ever had.) A few more of my friends that a few exist on the Hall of fame joined around this time too, KSI Saint 7, Undeadshells, KSI Kim Jung Un(he had like 6 gamertags hell if I can remember anyothers since that one was so ridiculous), and my other friend Storma. We all had played halo 2 together for quite a while before we joined, sadly my first KSI experience was pretty unmonumental this was around the time the xbox 360 came out and I had got one day one. I got pretty hardcore into Perfect Dark and dissappeared. During this time all my friends had a falling out with KSI(typical drama lol) and they all left and made the first KSI Sucks Clan. After a month I came back and we all played again, eventually mesmerize and hypnotize joined back and I decided I wanted to come back. I had to play against one of the best halo 2 players and the manager of our first Pro team KSI Mersk(this was a more current GT can't remember his original GT) and he beat me 10-6 this was enough to get in. I joined KSI No Radar XK right before the biggest split KSI had seen since 7th Cav left to make MoB. This was when 007 and Knight and all the big wig XGC council guys left and made XGC. So yea a week in that was my biggest experience and I loved it the drama instantly drew me in, hell I was 14 at the time so yea drama was awesome it was like being in some crazy Virtual war. So after this split a lot of us stayed here, I was transfered by mersk into the SO division. Which was ran by Mersk, Animalstyle, and our Founder KSI Blood Lord 7. We had lots of fun their one of my good friends Tmoney got up to captain rank. We played and played, but we had another falling out; when my friends Hypnotize and mezmerize got offered their own squad in XD. So we left and formed KSI Genocide XD, this is where I had a huge change in the online community world. It was a time where playing the game and being better then everyone else is all that mattered to me, ranking up didn't mean anything. This is when I met my friend MoB R3AP3R 2k(This is before he became a hall of fame senior director we'll get their eventually). Well I first joined through a lobby I believe shells was hosting because they had been hitting MoB squads and had many contacts in MoB. When I joined I met Reaper and he told me what had happened to him how he randomly got matched in a matchmaking game with MoB Nikki and a few others and got blacklisted because of it. These days this was pretty normal it happened all the time, and within hours I ended up blacklisted for being in this game by KSI Khaos 7. So I joined reaper in the best squad I ever joined MoB Demigod TG; under the tommy gun division. We had a Major clan rank of 28 and a minor rank of 30. We were the real deal we dominated people in that squad and that's all that mattered to me, but ranking up and building something set on the back of my mind. Eventually I met probably the most notorious member of MoB(Besides Godfather), MoB Bob Dole. He at the time had hit around 25 KSI Squads. I was young and thought hitting the clan that had blacklisted me for such mundane reasons would be hilarious. So, I ranked up in Tommy Gun and helped Bob Dole hit many squads. We had the original KSI gamertag and used it to pretend we were the creator and requested overlord it worked like 75% of the time it was pretty ridiculous. Then when that wouldn't work we would just coax members into handing it over. When all was said and done we had hit 60 squads in the span of a few months. This was all around the time of MLG Chicago where KSI Mannup ss had tried to fight all the MoB members. Tensions were really high in the communities and we were loving it. Eventually I moved to hitting other clans the biggest was XGC and when I hit it XGC Knight XI lost his Poop, because at the time XGC and MoB had an alliance. I thought that sounded dumb so I ended that, they requested we be kicked from Tommygun yet everyone knew we were basically our own clan since Bob Dole was loved by Godfather. So that was the end of the pact between the two clans. Then I focused my attention on other things then hitting squads. I ranked up to the status of Don when Bob decided to hand the title over to me. I ran Tommygun for months, during this time I recruited the future downfall of MoB lol, KSI Raze Drake. He had joined tommy gun and he and dole had a falling out, so he went to Pit bulls and basically standardized the community. We were a no rules community, he made it into new KSI and is why the community is dead to this day. We eventually left and formed our own clan GFS(Gamings Finest Soldiers) it was all fine and all but I wanted to be a part of something huge. During my time as a squad hitter in MoB I had a lot of KSI contacts and one of my friends still to this day KSI Xakutioner 7 got me back into KSI. We also had a good friend who was a MoB squad hitter, KSI Dirty Dog 7; we had no idea he was trying to hit Demigod when he was MoB Dirty Dog. But we absolutely loved him when he was in and he randomly dissapeared one day. After everything we ran into him again and while I was in some fringe squad xakutioner and I made, he ran the Firestorm division with KSI Spider 7. Eventually Reaper joined KSI Pyros FS, and got me to follow him. He ranked up again and again and I eventually got to the rank of General. I rank pyros at 100 members, maximum capacity from september 2006 to october. Eventually I was promoted to a co-founder and finally got my seven rank. I recruited two other hall of famers during this time KSI Shank 7 and KSI Mari 7 in KSI Butane FS. Eventually R3AP3R was moved tO LE and given his shot at Director. So he took me and my best general KSI Destroyer 7, our job was to rebuild LE. After awhile we ran the community and got LE up to a thousand members. During this time we recruited probably some of the best members KSI has seen: KSI Tex 7 and KSI Matrix 7. Eventually, I got bored of running generic halo 2 clans, this is when me and Reaper decided to start the first Xbox 360 division KSI Demigod. We tried to run it like old school MoB Demigod, and ran it on many different games Rainbow Six Vegas, gears of war, and a few other big 2006 games. This is also around the time we met our demise we started to play World of Warcraft. We eventually made DG a Wow division, and boosted it to about 500 members. But our activity on xbox was so low eventually people just treated our division as something billy allowed us to do. Oh did I mention I was pretty good friends with that guy after I rejoined too. He was a crazy guy but would do anything for you as long as you didn't catch him on his bad day. Anyways, during this time I also ran a secret squad that would eventually become IDD. This squad was called the A-team, yea it was halarious that's the point. This squad was the original reason I was let back into KSI, to get rid of the competition. Whenever we had a threat me and my squad were to either spy on them or get rid of them. Typically it was the latter, we used many social hacking means to get rid of these people and that's why you don't hear about many three letter clans still to this day. Yea I was young and a little Poop but it was fun. Eventually I got interested in Graphics this is when I met my idol to this day Aanoi(The current AD) and the other person besides Reaper to be my mentor: Erbs. Haha yea i'm sure you'll all laugh at that but he taught me how to use photoshop and how to laugh at just about everything. Eventually I became a Graphics Artist, or a troll to most of you, and met some of the most influental people I've met online to this day. Aanoi, Avaria, Erbs, Sins, TopDog, Elite, Brain, Wormo, cows, and tons of other people. I envied all these guys as the great artists they were and to this day they are responsible for shaping my artistic abilities. Over time a guy KSI Shotgun 7 started a website called SexonCanvas where we all kind of hung out for awhile and for some reason everyone got blacklisted for being there. Over time we all got back by some means, but things were different after that. Eventually, we all went our separate ways, we all still see each other around. I went to college and while there United was made, I saw it as the new MoB and jumped ship once I realized it was not I left and formed a clan called VzR with KSI Xakutioner 7. VzR was probably the most professional clan I was apart of we had 8 teams in the #1 place on Game Battles. Our website hopped from 500 members to 10,000 in a matter of weeks. We eventually sponsored a team called Triggers Down's member SK to go to MLG Orlando where he won. To this day billy still takes credit for this, lol no KSI still hasn't won an MLG from a team under the KSI name. Anyways, things happened our webmaster stole the site and it all fell apart. We attempted to start up quite a few things after we sponsored one of the top Starcraft teams for awhile. But they got offered more money and better promises. Eventually I had a lot of things happen all at once and returned home from college to work full time. I called billy and he gave me a spot as art director for a few weeks and a board rank. Then I got a lot of the old members back and they ostracized me because I was just handed the role, and I was always the abstract artist who couldn't really do any actual design work to scale. So they shunned me from the role and I gladly handed it over. Eventually I met one of my old friends again who had just been given the role of CEO KSI Adidas 7. He had me join in on a project to help get KSI grants to turn the community into a education system that would get us government grants and actually get all of you crazy people paid money. He had me working on that and in the mean time gave me Moderator on the site. This is when I met Tex again and met some really awesome people KSI DrunkMunkee 7 and KSI Ragnaroks 7. I worked on one of the admin KSI Spider 7, he hated me because he always knew me as a troll even in FS lol. After time Spider got kicked out for dumbass reasons and I got moved up to Global Mod. This was also around the time Adidas got kicked out over probably the Pooptiest reason I've ever seen. So that ended all of the hopes for a new future. Eventually, the split came when we all watched Billy week after week make absolutely ridiculous decisions based on race, religion, and rumors. Eventually when he told a young muslim member that he had to change his name because "muslims are terrorists" alot of members had enough. That is when everyone voted billy out and things ran smoothly for a day or so when Billy was banned from the site. Eventually KSI Msanders 7 rejoined and gained control of the server back from JT. That is when worstplayer created KSIforums.com and the bulk of KSI transitioned there along with it. I stayed behind because of everything Billy had done for me, but I also offered to help get the new site up. This is right when I went to Europe and while there I did some occasional work on both global.com and .org as admin. I recruited a lot of older members to populate our gm and moderator roles and was getting .com back on a path of recovery. Eventually though I was told that a member had told billy that I was helping .org which I did not deny. I was told I was blacklisted by Billy. A man who to this day I know better then most people I know irl. This hurt but I came over to .org full time and worked my way up to CAO, and my time in .org I met some of my best friends to this day. Me and Ragnaroks became practically brothers, same as KSI Ace 7. Then I met KSI QueenJess and Chaos, and instantly fell in love I seriously love all of these guys like family. I also have had the greatest staff I've ever worked with, in clan ops or web ops. These people on my staff are basically family to me I would back any of them to the end and if they needed something from me I would give it to them. Even my retired staff members I still feel this way about. Since coming to .org, I had thought I understood what clans had been about since I had been around them since 2005. But I finally found a place to call him in .org and a place where I have met people whom I will do anything for, for the rest of my life. In summary, I've seen it all and heard it all. I've been through all the drama and all the strife, but with these past 3 years I look to the future every day because .org really surprises me. I can't wait for what lies in the future. ** Sadly, I've forgotten a ton of stuff and probably pissed people off I've forgotten, but I'll update the below if anything comes to mind. For awhile in 2007 I was a Web Admin under KSI Legacy 7 I also made the first gaming site, like weekend warfare, with KSI Webmaster 7. I also ran a graphics website called aR which was an artist community created on KSI. I also helped create the first online radio for KSI with Webmaster also. Me and Xakutioner also helped recruit pro teams to KSI. We helped recruit LGD to play under KSI, I still don't count this since they weren't actually a KSI team. LGD won 1st in gears of war in 2007? I think Another good friend of mine I met in KSI, KSI Chief 7 just can't remember exactly when we met. I currently am the Trademark owner of the KSI Global name which I filed in 2011. I also run our servers and run our web staff along with KSI Ace 7 and KSI Ragnaroks 7. I'm also that pretty face who streams indie games every now and then and plays sexy music during spirit week on twitch. The highest rank i've obtained in clan ops is Division leader and my favorite rank I've held was General. KSI SHIVERS 7 29
<p>KSI SHIVERS 7 </p> <p>Current Co-Div Leader of ES</p> <p>My Career in KSI began September 9th 2013. I was recruited by KSI LOST SOUL. I ended up in Lycans ES as SHIVERS1991.</p> <p>A couple of weeks after being in KSI I was approached by the Co-Fo at the time which was KSI Dragon014x7 and was asked "how do you like your experience in KSI so far" i replied "Im not totally sure it seems like everything needs to settle down and then maybe it would get better" he explained to me that we are a brand new Division and things are going to settle down soon. At this point in time i had no idea who Dragon was. After about another week or so of coming to the meetings and learning as much as possible KSI LOST SOUL came to me again and asked me if i was to get a name change would i recruit and be willing to move up within the ranks of Lycans i said sure thats when my career really got started we began to recruit members and train members left and right and before you know it i was a SSGT things were picking up even more at this point because i became proud of ranking up i wanted LT then CPT i dont know the exact date for those promotions but they came quick. I finally became Captian in Lycans i made it to a couple of the officers meetings and the sevens asked about black ops 2 squads this was around the time Ghosts came out i volunteered to become a Gen and run a black ops two squad i was promoted to Gen of Banshee ES on 12/12/13 I know every Gen says my squad is the best but i truly feel the foundation of Banshee when i was promoted to Co-Fo was outstanding i was Promoted to Co-Fo on 2/6/14 it was very unexpected i learned alot about how other squads were run and also how much of a tight nit unit the ES 7s was and Still are although many of them are not in ES anymore we continue this relationship within the 7s staff today a few short months later i was promoted to founder on 5/29/14 Finally we hit our Division split and LW had been created less than a week after KSI Dragon014x7 had been promoted to DIR i was promoted to Co-Div leader 8/6/14 im am currently in this position now we are sitting at around 400 members and i wouldnt Change a thing KSI Atom 7
 DoCNeSS 239
Do i get to put my history? Fire away man. The more hiSTORIES we get from everyone in community, the more complete the KSI history will be. KSI's history is still ongoing of course, but to document what has happened will go a long ways into actually archiving our history into something tangible, and readable to all. **** Anywho, not sure which thread we're rolling around in, so I'll copy what I've posted in the leaders area for good measure. My history (in progress) So there I was...In a lobby running solo on MW2 TDM. I came across this guy that was just stomping out lobbies. I was good, but this guy just seemed to play differently than everyone else. The craziest moves and doing things you just wouldn't expect. I was intrigued and finally messaged the guy to see if we could party up and dominate some lobbies since neither of us was leaving the lobby we met each other in. We did, and that was the start of a very long dynamic duo - TacTiKaLiTy (me) & Doc Nasty (him). Of course his name being "Doc" nasty I had to ask him if he was in the medical profession, and sure enough he was a combat medic just a state away from myself at the time. I logged on one day and found out he joined KSI out of the blue. I asked him about it and he uttered some words that I still repeat to this day, "KSI is the most legit gaming community you could be a part of..." Of course, after running solo for years and tearing up clans by myself, I didn't really care to hear that at first. A few months go by and I was brought into a MW3 lobby with KSI DN4STY (previously Doc Nasty), KSI Dramatic 7, KSI Skillz 7, KSI ATL 7 and KSIxAPOCALYPSE7. The lobby was rowdy but fun to be in since we're all grown folks having a good time on here. Initially, they didn't mention anything about KSI. All we did was game. We gamed our asses off. I mean it. We obliterated lobbies. It was disgusting joy we all had. It didn't matter who else was on our team. We slaughtered everything together. As I was gaming with them and putting in just as many kills and knocking out challenges, they were all ranking up faster than I was. I was like WTF?!? How are yall doing that? I'm thinking I'd get some insider information that I can champion myself. Turns out they were in GLB1 on the COD Global Elite clan. Finally, we had the conversation. That impending conversation we have with many of our friends who are not in KSI and would like to be. I was against all of them after somehow the lobby got switched up. We went blow for blow for a few matches and Apoc asked KSI D4NSTY, "Yo when you gonna recruit Tact in?" "Tact, Nasty is gonna bring you in aight," Dramatic followed up with. The way it happened... haha... it really wasn't much of a choice lol. But I was down with that. Seeing how awesome these guys were, and the fact that if ANY clan/community could scoop up someone like Doc Nasty/KSI D4NSTY, I was sold. I was recruited after playing with these guys for about 8 months. I remember being trained by KSI Matalac (Demise 1LT at the time), DN4STY was in the party with me while it was going on. It felt like a very serious deal so I really paid close attention to everything that was being said. As I was changing my motto, bio, and settings, I was moving as quickly as xbox will allow me to. I wanted to knock this stuff out quick in case there was more to the process and that I was a competent individual. I got the heads up before I was recruited that Demise was full of BAMFs and I didn't want to come off as sub-par for any reason. I immediately changed my gamertag after I was changed. It was a tense but exciting moment because they were telling me what was appropriate and what wasn't. We were going back and forth with names I could use. Obviously, I couldn't change it to KSI TacTiKaLiTy because there were too many characters. Well, I chose to incorporate a nickname I earned from the Marines "docness". It worked out great. I was a fresh new member in one of the most talented squads in KSI from gaming to leadership. Even as a grown man, I looked up to these guys. Rank and leadership back then was held in high regard. I did what I was told. I ran everything by my leadership before executing as everyone else did. These guys didn't need to rule with an iron fist. We all wanted to work for them and a little intimidated at the same time as they can't help but speak with authority. When they said hit the forums, I was all over it. They said we needed to attend training, I went to every session whether it applied to myself or not. It made me want to learn more about KSI. Who WOULDN'T want to know more about something they're apart of? I set out to do just that and with me being active on the forums I began to start digging. I read literally everything on the forums I had access to. Everything. Seriously....EVERYTHING. I learned so much about the rest of the community and all the pertinent information for all the ranks, processes, policies and much much more. I felt truly enlightened by the time I was done reading like a monk who had been meditating for years and coming to some sort of life changing, mind blowing realization. I felt like the right thing to do was to share this information because not everyone is THAT forum savvy. So I ran an idea by DN4STY, Matalac, and Az about an informational thread in our own division forum area for all of us to contribute to and act as a one stop shop for info. They liked the idea and approved. I was proud of this thread. I made a brief synopsis of every informational link to every forum area, posted current events going on, departments that were recruiting and a summary of what they did, and more information on top of information. From then on, everything I posted when I answered questions about KSI had a reference link. A while later, I was called into a party for my first promotion. I turned it down as I felt like I couldn't compare to these awesome leaders - like who the Huck am I to be an officer among you all right now. If you know anything about those names I mentioned, you'd know that the following conversation went one way - their way lol. I came into my own as a leader as we progressed and leaders were moving up the ranks. Among the officers that came up with me were KSI ATL 7, KSI Azrael 7, KSI Sn00p, and KSI Wars 7. ATL got promoted to 7 but had some family issues to take care of and was moved to Advisor. After some time went by, Azrael was promoted to Co-Founder, which meant a new General of the squad is about to come up. At the time, all three of us were Captains. It was a tough decision as we all were overqualified and put in crazy work, but it was mad fun doing it. It was decided that I'd become the new General of Demise DL. Again, I turned down the promotion because I felt that any one of us would do a good job and with that in mind, why not promote someone who had been in longer? Well... Dramatic and Skillz joined the party with Azrael and myself and ... again there's just no way to refuse lol. Snoop & Wars were down for the cause and felt that I was more than ready & would do a better job. Ultimate reasoning I was provided why I was chosen over them was because the squad recognized me as the leader. When they told me that it really put things in perspective. When divisions are shopping for Captains to promote up to Gens, I always ask, "Who's the recognized leader in the squad?" It was a seamless transition. We didn't miss a beat. Just when everything was going great we got hit hard. A rival clan decided to poach members by offering positions with less structure and rules to abide by. That crap seems great until you realize your position means absolute Poop and your clan is lame with nothing to offer, have no vision, no purpose or organization. I was terrified. I felt like I was letting down the people who bestowed their confidence in me. Dramatic smacked some sense into me when he said some people are bound to leave for one reason or another, but the majority wouldn't be leaving if they were really "all about it". By "it" he's referring to KSI. And a light switched on. It all made sense. And I took those words to heart. From then on, I was dead set on motivation, commitment among members to each other, the squad, and the division. We didn't just recruit anyone who wanted to join. We were recruiting leaders - REAL leaders and molding them into better leaders. That's how Apoc did it. That's how Skillz and Dramatic did it. Dammit that's wtf we're going to do. We did just that and then some. At this time, I also created what I called "squad jobs". I know, corny name, but the idea worked flawlessly. Squad jobs gave move people "titles" within the squad and a revitalized sense of purpose & responsibility. "Scribblez" was the designated title for the person I had in charge of keeping notes of all meetings. I relied on this person to recall information if necessary, and to continue to document who's doing what and when. "OPSO" or "Operations Officer" was responsible for getting people into squad based objective teams, oversight on head hunters & their battles, and supervised squad activities or "operations". Every officer obviously is allow to train which is part of their job, however, I had a training officer who designated who was doing which training when, ensured people who signed up for LEAD courses actually attended and encouraged sign ups, and was the go-to person for all things training related. The "Platoon Sgt" was responsible for knowing each individual of the squad and keeping detailed accountability for them which included LOAs, why so & so didn't make a meeting, assist training officer with ensuring folks make it to the LEAD courses and also worked with the training officer & myself to push the mentor-ship program we had going. These jobs were separate from other objective teams such as HH Captain, or QS team or what Demise was really famous for TEAM DEFENDER (never been beaten thanks to ATL). There were other positions related to the forums that were created as well. Had folks in place to help facilitate forums activity. Some folks in place as "PAO's" or social representatives of the squad to interact with others such as when we were challenged to a few games by a clan or another squad in KSI. We only brought in the best of the best recruits into Demise. We OFFERED others who wanted to join in other squads as they weren't bad recruits, they just weren't on our level in Demise. We ended up splitting Demise DL twice and nearly a third time before I became CoFo. During that time we had split the division into Forced Induction and Royal Prophecy. Azrael went over as a CoFo for FI along with KSI Veilsix 7. Skillz and a few others went over to RP. All of RP's prominent leadership came from Demise...literally all of them. About 3 months into the creation of RP, KSIxly, one of the guys I rapped it up with on a regular basis, and I had an idea. We knew that KSI is a recruitment machine in itself. There are many services that we offer that would attract anyone alone and that's before YOU even speak. What ELSE could we possibly add to our community to really send us over the top? Among those ideas, what could we as members actually execute and sustain? What was created was nothing short of what could potentially be the next big thing. He mentioned something like tutoring community members who are having trouble with school work. I said well that's a pretty good idea as grades can factor in whether we keep some of our members. The better the grades the more KSI is acceptable in a parent's eyes right? And yes, this is absolutely something you will not find in any other clan or gaming community. And after many nights of constructive debating and note taking, compromises we came up with a rough draft plan. We knew we needed some sort of forum. There's the study hall section of the forums. However, this wouldn't be considered a service. It wouldn't be as well regulated. It wouldn't be nearly as structured as we'd desire. Personally, I was willing to try it for the sake of trial and error, but this guy being just as driven as every other person who came out of Demise at the time (though he went over to RP) took it much further. After receiving BOD approval, the Academic Support Center was established. We had a small staff to start off with and we weren't sure how quickly this would blow up. In the meantime, we were laying down the foundation for this new department to sustain its growth. We had a screening process in place, reference threads, background checks on students, staff, and applicants, checks on credentialing, go-bys for visitors passing through, forum area for service requests, even a damn book club. Unfortunately, there wasn't much action. We had a few folks come by who benefited from it, but not enough to realistically keep in place. After some time with little activity, the department was closed. As with anything on the forums, it was archived for historical purposes - never deleted <3 I had to drop an LOA for a month to join my Marines on a joint field operation with some exciting other folks. Upon returning, KSI Lazar 7 had illegally transferred me to Forced Induction. I recall his reasoning, but it's not historically relevant. It was not a rough transition at all. DL and FI were very close and I kept in contact with FI since it's birth. Being a brand new cofounder in a different division was a different story. I felt like I had built such a great reputation in DL that I was worried I wouldn't be able to live up to the high expectations of others knowing what I did there. It seemed to be a non-issue. After mingling with the squads again and getting a few things in placed, I was right at home among everyone there. I was back in my groove and very comfortable. I went on my largest recruiting spree. I was recruiting people from everywhere. Survivor, multiplayer, campaign modes. Hell I recruited a a few dozen Marines into KSI for Halo and COD. Azrael was promoted to Co-Division leader and that Founder's position was wide open. I was in competition with one other CoFounder, KSI Casanova 7, who had been there since FI was born and at the time was active & a member of the IA team. Initially, FI had some fluff problems that went on for some time either because it was ignored or not addressed. Around the time we identified what was going on, we lost our codiv, KSI Veilsix 7 due to personal reasons. It was Az, KSI Casanova 7, myself as 7s and about 90 inactive members. Fluff removing was a little demoralizing as squads saw their numbers dwindling. We were prime target for a hit. Sure enough, like clockwork, a rival clan came and poached in a more intricate way - mirroring our names with additional spaces and our recruit tag. A collateral effect of this occurence was several members leaving and creating their own clans and of course attempting to get others to join them. Casanova fell inactive after his extended LOA. FI saw the worst times then as we KNEW there was a mole within our division and had no idea who. This person was feeding pertinent information to this clan that directly resorted to this disaster. It was hard to trust members who wanted to return that had accepted tags because of this reason. We finally caught the mole, kicked him out and had a much needed heart to heart with each other. After dummy accounts and fluff was removed we saw our lowest numbers ever. There was a time when our division was considered for merging back with DL. When we learned of this, we pulled our heads out of our asses and banded together to not only bounce back from this unfortunate series of events to strive to be the best division out there. Az and I turned it up. Together we cleaned out each tag together one by one. We had each squad stagger their meetings so we could be at every one of them. Keeping the security issue that just passed, we realized the importance of cohesion and really got to know each and every individual in the division & had a personal relationship with everyone. I think that was really the most important element we had that helped facilitate what happened next. Within 5 months we made it to Flagship, had a solid foundation with great Generals, awesome officers, and a TON of sgt's ready to lead the charge. Notable names to mention that truly helped make a difference were KSI Azrael 7, KSI Smooth 7, KSI Acidvapor 7, KSI Oraclex 7, KSI Shinobi 7, and KSI TwsTdFists 7. They're all 7's for a reason after all Other names that aided in the strength and growth later on were KSI Chief HD, KSI Sword Art, KSI Kreaky (yes believe it or not), KSI Slick Wil, KSI Invizzy 1, KSI BroFrutiger, KSI Achievhuntr (now KSI Sword Art), KSI Overload, KSI x Force, KSI Bear46, and KSI FuzzyFinS. The names mentioned were the anchors of Forced Induction. As a team, we were able to do anything. We created the foundation once again, carefully laying brick after brick. We learned the hard way that even if you have a brick house, without the bond between each brick the big bad wolf can still blow your house down. Due to some personal family things happening at home, Azrael had a much needed hiatus who will later return and rise through the ranks again. By the time I became division leader, practically the entire division was on a first name basis. Several squads were holding "Corporals Showdowns" as made famous by KSI Oraclex 7. We had tournaments on a regular basis. To be more accurate, we had huge tournaments so damn frequently with so much participation that we rivaled the T&E staff and actually decided to give a name to the staff that helped organize these tournaments. At first we called it Forced Induction Tournaments and Events Staff, but that was quickly identified by big KSI and was frowned upon because it was essentially rivaling a department, but all we wanted to do was host tournaments for our div which we did often. Eventually, the more covert name succeeded, "F.I.T.E" - Forced Induction Tournaments & Events, simple enough right? KSI Sword Art was a big part of that movement. Before there was www.ksiweekendwarfare.org, we had our own site to manage tournaments. Our training program was in full effect, used by everyone the division. Training alone attracted many leaders from other divisions to sit in on and send members to. Our forums activity seemed to be unmatched. Our head hunters, as Smooth, Brofrutiger, and Slick Wil pride themselves on, went undefeated for the duration of 2 Generals. Though many folks who were on our HH teams weren't available, during KSI Spirit Week 2013 FI took 1st place with a band of average squad members lead by KSI BroFrutiger. That was just more of a motivational boost for the entire division to feed off of. We turned up the heat even more. Game nights got really creative and hosted more often. We went to other division's game nights and had squad challenges, more HH battles, and earned a bit of reputation that way. If you have an HH team, go talk to FI is pretty much how the end of every division leader meeting went lol. We couldn't get enough interaction with each other and other divisions. We loved it. It got to the point we were so full of ourselves that we were practically acting as a self sustaining gaming community complete with our own F.I.T.E team, divisional productions team posting up videos of game nights and streaming crowns games. FI was on fire as we kept achieving milestone after milestone. Some time last year the Seniors had wanted all the divisions to come up with a slogan or quote of some kind. Among many of FI's the most celebrated was, "We Stop For No One" - as in we couldn't be stopped. We had so many solid leaders in all the right places, and everyone was putting in work... it was just amazing. We just clicked. It was an awesome feeling. Courtesy from the AAP dept, the 2013 OTY awards will give you an indication for the caliber of leadership we had at the time (not saying we were the best leaders, but we were damn good best believe) and was the icing on the cake. Knowing that everyone I talked to was a 7 waiting to be promoted - yes it was like that. Though General is my favorite rank, Division Leader comes in a very close second. I had a blast. I have Impyyy to thank for giving me the gun to pull the trigger on the promotions of Acid, Oracle, Shinobi, and Smooth. I have Huck to thank for being with me on the 2 am calls and putting out fires, putting me in more situations to learn from, and providing me an opportunity to mentor other division leaders. I have Chaos to thank for ripping into my ass about G14 and squad tag usage. You might think you're hot Poop until he goes through your tags and will bring you back to reality lol. I don't remember WHEN QueenJess and I talked, but it was back when I was a Sgt and I really admired her. The things she said would just make perfect sense. I was promoted to Director during the New Years Live Stream on January 10, 2014 by KSI QueenJess. In fact, Jess was promoted to Chief of Staff, and KSI HUCKLBERRY7 was promoted to Senior Director that same night. It was a very exciting and surprising time. Yes, I was the guy that squealed like a little girl when I got promoted and ran through the house like I won the lottery. I couldn't contain it. Alcohol may have had a little to do with that. But hey, there was a lot to celebrate that night. Since then, I've been a Director over FI, CO, FG, DR, and EO. The more divisions I've interacted with as a director, the more I got to see other leaders in action. It's very inspiring at times. To see so much passion from other people across KSI. It brings me comfort knowing that there are more folks that are KSI for Life Earlier this year, I finally fulfilled my New Year's resolution and picked up a capture card and editing software to learn how to produce these amazing videos I keep seeing on youtube. Of course, this was not over night. I bought the crap and didn't know how to use it lol. So I hit up the Productinos Team looking for a lil bit of mentorship. Todoh, the previous Head of Productions, took me under his wing. He said that he'd teach me, but I'd have to join the team. I was excited to learn from a talented editor, but I was a little intimidated not knowing squat going into the team. But I thought it would be fun...and I was right. Certainly learned a lot about editing, the tools that are available, and networked some with other folks doing it around youtube. It's an interesting community in itself. Somewhere down the road there was restructuring within the department and to assess activity, everyone was asked to rejoin. Unfortunately, not everyone rejoined and it left a select group of us remaining to carry the torch. It hasn't been easy by no means, but we're getting stronger each day. Not long ago, I accepted the position as Head of Productions and I'm hoping with my experience we'll have a more robust group of staff in time Everything with her was very matter of fact much like my own leadership was (ATL, Skillz, Dramatic, Apoc). I learned a little something from everyone along the way. The forums gave me my references. The leaders gave me the framework/mindset for leading in KSI. And experience paved molded me to the KSI member I am today. But that's all I am here... just your average KSI member. Given the right opportunity and great leadership, anyone could be where I am today and I'm sincerely thankful for the experience I've had here. Even the lessons I've learned here have translated almost directly to leading in the military. I'm a better person now than I was prior to joining KSI. ........................ Will add to it later as there are many gaps. Retired
 Awards
Purge Senpai 59
I am not one for writing paragraphs or essays but here I go... I was first recruited into KSI on December 2nd, 2012 by my best friend, KSI Shattered, who is currently not in KSI anymore. I was recruited into Lethal DM under the Leadership of KSI Lionheart10 (Now KSI L10N 7.). As soon as I got recruited in, I immediately started showing interest in going up the ranks. I tried to host game nights, go out recruiting and being overall active. In Late December I changed my name to KSI Raijin, which a lot of people did not know how to pronounce it correctly.. One week after changing my name, I was promoted to Staff Sergeant, immediately following the promotion, I underwent training to train others. I tried to train as many new recruits as I could possibly get ahold of. I could say it was my specialty to train with the upmost detail. I was also a huge forging guy on Halo 4, constantly creating new maps and game types for custom games. i was eventually dubbed the Game Night Master. I did so many game nights per week that the divisional leadership started limiting me to one per week so other squads can host their game nights. Recruiting was not my strong suit due to me having a "strong & unique" personality. I was extremely picky with whom I recruited. It was a few months till I got promoted to Lieutenant due to many issues concerning myself with my conduct and how I acted around others, which I am still working till this day. Once I was promoted to LT, I tried to do everything in my power to keep the squad running efficiently. Around this time L10N was promoted to CO-Founder of Demonic Mayhem. As soon as this happened, KSI HAVOC VL (Now KSI HAVOC 7). was promoted to General over the squad. I gave him soo many troubles, which now I look back and feel bad for being such a pain in the butt. Around this time I was framed by another member that I submitted a join application to Bill's KSI. Immediately following this I was security risked. I fought my hardest to prove my innocence to Leaders at the time. I followed every direction that gave me. They soon found out it was another member to tried to frame me because he didnt like me for reasons unknown. As soon as this information came to light, my security risk was overturned and he got security risked. There was a bit of confusion amongst the squad members in the division that I was friends with. As soon as everything cleared up I was promoted to 4th Captain. Soon after this promotion KSI HAVOC VL was promoted to Co-Founder, Therefore a new general came named KSI Gremlins. At first I didnt trust him and showed my distrust to our new Co-Founder, after a stern talking to, I understood and delt with it, in returned I tried to help him as much as I could to show my worth in the squad. After a while He became inactive due to school and work which is understandable. As soon as this happened I was promoted to 2nd Captain then 1st Captain. There I once again worked as hard I could despite my various faults and flaws. In return, I was promoted to General of Lethal, DM. In my short tenure I worked my best to have the squad succeed, about 2 months in, the squad split into Despair. Shortly after Lethal fell into a bad string of inactive members and no recruitment. I tried my best to get people active and get more recruits but it wasnt working out well, at this point I was so emotionally overwhelmed with real life issues and KSI that I broke down and started to cry, at this point I stepped down and asked for a squad transfer to start fresh, I stepped down to LT. As soon as I transferred, I was in Hellfire DM, a Call of Duty: Ghosts squad, I tried to help them as much as I can, being promoted up to 4th Captain once again. I went out recruiting, trained some people here and there. Eventually the General over the squad left KSI due to school and work. At this point I was rank locked due to some issues. I felt unhappy here due to me no liking ghosts very much. Once again I asked for a transfer. I joined Menace DM, A Halo squad. I was only here for a few months as a Staff Sergeant. At this moment I joined KSI Productions and started livestreaming and doing Lets Plays. a month or so after joining productions. My Xbox Live ran out and did not know when I was going to get it back. That being so, I left Clan Ops, planning on going back to the same division once I get my live back. Soon after announcing this, 25% of my friends from DM who I thought were my friends deleted me as their friend, at this moment I felt betrayed and hurt. I felt unwanted by my home division. About 1 month after, My live officially came back for a few months. I decided to start fresh and joined Desolate LS. A Completely new division and squad. A clean slate. I wasnt here long. I went on Vacation to Florida for a few weeks and was removed for inactivity despite me telling the General of the squad that I was going to be away. I guess he forgot. As soon as I came back I asked to be transfered to back to my home division. As soon as my transfer went through I went to Rage DM, Which is where I currently reside for now. KSI BuMPer 7 77
I was recruited into NECRO DL on August 20, 2013 by KSI NotSoCold, at the time my gamertag was iamtheBMP94. I changed my gamertag to KSI iamtheBMP94 a week after being recruited. I was promoted to SSGT in the end of September that year as we were preparing to squad split and our 1st Captain who was taking the new squad wanted me as an officer. On October 11, 2013, REAPERS DL was born. Soon after our 2 LTs had some personal issues and one stepped down and the other was demoted. That was when I got promoted to 4LT. Unfortunately my GEN and 1st CPT at the time ran into personal life issues and within a week of being promoted I was the only active officer in my squad. I was definitely knocked down after hearing how my Former Gen/CoFo was trying to get me demoted multiple times. He was putting people into REAPERS as 1st and 2nd LT while I stayed as a 4LT. In December of 2013 our original GEN left and our Founder at the time was starting stuff with me and my 1st CPT. He eventually left and took basically the entire officer staffs of 2 squads. Finally after a few weeks of no GEN and me threatening to leave, they promoted a new GEN in our squad. After 3 months as a 4LT, I was quickly promoted to 3rd CPT. We quickly brought REAPERS back to over 50 members and things were looking great. Then again our GEN started getting to the point he was bored and didn't really want to do much. Once I reached 1st CPT, I changed my gamertag to KSI The BMP. In the beginning of May 2014, a big issue came up where we cancelled a meeting and I was working and little to knowledge so was he. We had 2 LT and neither knew we had cancelled the meeting. I didn't send a message out since to my knowledge our GEN was home and would send it off the squad tag. After an argument between our GEN and a LT, the LT requested a transfer and went to help another squad. The next day my GEN left KSI. On May 15, 2014 I finally got my chance as GEN of REAPERS. When I took it over, I swore to my squad, I was not leaving unless I got CoFo or split our squad. It was hard right off the start, I had no officers and had little GEN training. I have pretty much self taught myself the majority of my knowledge for officer ranks and positions. However, I feel it has not hindered me because I would read all the possible areas on the forums with information and training notes, so I could have all the knowledge I could possibly get from these forums. Shortly after getting GEN a former member who left for personal reasons asked to come back and I was given permission by my Co-Div Leader to fast track this individual, which now I have learned should have never happened, I wish I knew that then. This member caused a lot of issues being disrespectful and power hungry, I talked to them and they promised to calm down and knew I was stuck, They were my only officer and were putting in work. They got to 2nd CPT and when we wouldn't promote then to 1st CPT, they started pulling false accusations against me and requested a transfer. They then were disrespectful after getting a final warning from our 7s and got demoted. They left and took about 10 people with them. It took a bit to get morale back up from that. A lot of other issues popped up during that time too. I admittedly am a very outspoken person and will speak my mind a lot. Sometimes, I will admit, when I should keep my mouth shut, but I feel I am getting better with that. Unfortunately a few fellow GENs, didn't like that and kept trying to get me kicked out of KSI or DL. A few times the stress got so bad, I was all set to Div transfer. Eventually they got pissed about everything and left. Through it all I never broke the promise I made my squad. I remained loyal it my members through all the adversity. Sadly about a month ago, my CoFo had to leave for person reasons/work. At that time, on August 19, 2014, I achieved a major goal by earning my rank as a Co-Founder. A week later my Co-Div left and left me as the only 7 in DL. Now I have the great pleasure of working with Oni as my DIR, Paratroop as my acting Div Leader, and PANTSIR as my fellow Co-Founder. I have faced a lot of adversity and been knocked down to the point I wanted out of DL and ever a few times KSI. Through all of that I have fought it out and am so excited for this opportunity to bring DL back to greatness. I look back to when I joined and Cheddar was still over DL and how much fun we had. Thats what I want to bring back to DL. Sadly I have gone through some hard times and seeing people above me just up and leave. When I got GEN, I swore to my squad I would not leave them like KSI Salient Rob and KSI EllisD, did. I didn't, I fought to keep that squad going and I kept it around through a lot and earned my 7. Now I am promising my DIV, I will not be a KSIxTommieLee 7 or a KSI southern 7, I don't plan on letting them down either. I am highly motivated to bring DL back to greatness. Hello Im Gandhi 165
Well I figured I would take some time to contribute my history.... I started playing XBL sometime in 2007, I don't really remember when. My first experience with real competitive online gaming was with Rainbow Six Vegas 2. I met a guy on there, don't really remember his name, who introduced me to gaming communities and clans. For a while I was a part of a small 30 man group, mainly focused on tactical gaming. After a while I drifted around some smaller clans, mainly sticking to those that had 50 or less members. In seriousness I was awoken to an entirely new world. The connections I was making, and the friends I was meeting was so cool. I was immediately hooked! Sometime in 2008 I was playing Halo 3 on narrows, and I ran into a guy with the gamertag KSI Blevins. At this point I was naturally interested in all things gaming community, so I started asking him some questions about it, and before long I was hooked. You have to remember, in 2008 KSI was at the peaks of its' powers for the most part, and the community he described to me was breathtaking. He talked about how they were sponsored by some of the biggest names in gaming, and had tournaments and prizes all of the time. One of the most amazing things he told me about was how the community had over 20,000 members. I was so amazed that I really didn't have any words. At the time the age limit was strictly 17, but thanks to Blevins I was granted an exception and joined at around the age of 14. I didn't have a high pitched voice, and I was extremely dedicated, so they let it slide. Blevins recruited me into my first division, and my home, Xero Degreez. Xero Degreez (for the first time) I started off in IceBound XD and the rank of private. At that time we didn't have recruit, so everyone started from there. They told me to rank up I had to change my name, and I did it right away. My first gamertag was KSI Herminator, and I made a name with it (both good and bad). I quickly became one of the top recruiters for the division and for the squad, and worked my way up the ranks fast. At that time the requirments were no where near as strict, and if they saw potential in you, they would give me opportunities. In the span of two weeks I had risen to Lt, and approached my division leader, KSI Dead Shadow (who helped found LHR), with a proposition. I made it aware to him that there were a number of underage kids out there who, with the right training, could contribute to the community. I told him that if we had a buffer squad where they could be recruited, trained, and selected, we could get a good crop of dedicated gamers. After some deliberation with the division staff, he let me do it. So two weeks into the community I was opening my own squad, called KSI Arctic XD. After a few weeks our numbers had grown exponentially, and we had gotten a good number of recruits. To them I had proven my worth. Instead of having me continue my role in the buffer squad, they transfered the members and myself back to IceBound. At that time I was then promoted to CPT, and eventually became the first Cpt of IceBound. I didn't see much room for advancement because of our strong staff, so I decided to transfer to a new division, and I began the next part of my long career. Before we get into that, I want to say XD was my home, and sadly it was all but destroyed when the staff decided to leave and start their own community called LHR. That was one of the larger hits of the time on the community, and we lost some of our best leaders. KSI Honor 7, KSI Dead Shadow, and the list goes on. It remained dead for many years, until I, and Meep at one point had the chance to breath life back into it. Revenged Souls This could probably be best described as the time I met KSI Coletrain 7.... As an underaged member, there weren't many divisions that would take my services, however Coletrain was a guy who would. In all honestly, Coltrain (a director at the time), was one of the few members who gave everyone the biggest chance possible. When I joined his division he placed my in Fatal RS, and because of their lack of leaders, made me the Major. This was really my first taste of true leadership, even if it didn't last long... I was able to learn how to run a squad, and how to recruit in a more effective way. Honestly, I don't remember a lot of my time there, simply because it was so long ago. Sadly I didn't get along with all of the leaders, and so my time in RS was short, but it was important in my formation as a leader. Because of this, I jumped on the chance to return to XD, even though it was a shadow of its' former self. Xero Degreez (second stint) Because of their extremem shortage of leaders, I was given the opportunity to take over IceBound. It took a while, but I was able to find the leadership to help me build the squad back up. We quickly rebuilt it, but as is evidenced by now, I didn't last very long. Within a couple of months I decided I wanted to take a break, and left the division behind. By now you can start to see a theme. As a young member I was often unpatient, annoying, and a little imature. I jumped around a lot, and caused a little bit of trouble. However, one thing remained constant. I loved KSI, and XD. Even though I largely failed in my first stint in KSI, it did teach me some lessons. The In-Between Time As I took some time off KSI, I floated around for a little bit joining different communities. I did a stint in SYN where I was a Section Leader, but too left there to pursue other clans. The truth is I really wanted to start something that I could call my own, but it never worked out. After a while I decided I was tired of being in failed experiments, and clans I didn't really have a connection too. So after a little break I decided I would take my talents to South Beach, and rejoin KSI! The Xiled Empire When I rejoined KSI I really wanted to find somewhere that was active, fun, and most importantly had great leaders. XD still existed, but I really wasn't the division it was when I joined. When I first was recruited it was one of the pride's of KSI, but at this point it was a division of just a couple hundred, with large inactivity. Luckily I had some people that helped me find a home; The Xiled Empire. At the time there was about 5 or 6 KSI division that all beared the name Xiled, and were lead by the same group of Seniors and Directors. In fact, they almost functioned as a clan within a clan, much like the Synthetic and Helix Empires (although all three of these caused us problems later on). They promoted their own leaders, their own div leaders, and their own directors. It really was a self contained unit, but it was absolutely amaing to me at the time. The first division I joined within the empire was Xiled Cavalry, one of the more established divisions. I was made 1st Captain of one of their weaker squads, Strapped, with the mission of helping to rebuild the squad. As you can guess, we quickly did so. We got the squad up to about 78 members, and the division decided we would split and create a new squad. However, instead of going with the expansion group, the division leader and director decided to transfer me to Xiled Kings. I can't remember the exact reason, but I guess when they recruited me they didn't know my age, and weren't happy with it. So they said this was my last chance and sent me on my way... The leaders of the Empire were not always benevolent... I started my career in Xiled Kings with the squad Wraiths. I was once again put into the position of Major, expect this time there wasn't much building to do. In honestly my main job was to coordinate the officers and run a fully operational squad. We were always around the split capacity, so there really wasn't need for recruiting. I had to learn how to keep a large group of people involved, so I started to host game nights and meetings regularly. One of the things I prided myself on was getting a large number of members to change their tags. At one point I believe we were the most active squad in XK. It was a huge step in me learning how to be a leader, but I still had a lot problems. The general thought I was stepping on her tows, so when it came time to make a new squad she put me in charge of it. While it was a promotion, it was also a punishment. If you've ever started a new squad, you'll know how much work it takes. You have to recruit, train and lead. At times it can be overwhelming... However, in the end it wasn't so bad. As the leader of the new squad I got to choose the name. In true XK fashion I named it Ultimatum. In a way it kind of reflected the ultimatum I got when I came to XK; do well or leave. I really believe they gave me the job to see if I would screw up, but I don't feel like I did. Although, I never really got to find out. We quickly established the squad, getting it up to 40 members in just a couple of weeks. I had even managed to get a majority of KSI tags. Because of this I was able to train them and create a solid group of officers. After a few weeks I took some time to go on vacation. When I came back I discovered something strange... The division was gone. Apparently while I was gone the entire Empire had decided to break off KSI and create their own community, called TXI. My squad was gone, but I was able to get a few of my officers to come back or stay. My work was gone, but I was disuaded. Thanks to a pretty nice dude I found a new home. Semper Fi (A New Home) It took me a while to find a division to join, seeing as my home for the last little while was gone, but I eventually did. I got the help of a director, and he placed my in a recently rebuilt division called Semper Fi. If you've read Fuzzy's bio, then you've heard of it. When I met him I was either a Co-Div or a Div leader, I'm not really sure which. He quickly gave me the chance to prove myself, and became a mentor of mine. I still wasn't ready to make a meaningful impact, be Fuzzy helped me become ready. In fact, when I tell the rest of my story you may see that he and I moved up the ladder together. However, there is one difference. He stayed and I didn't... Now look at where he is. I was placed in a newer squad called Assasins SF as the 1CPT. We quickly built it up, as Fuzzy said, and helped create an amazing squad. I continued on through the ranks until I became the General. At that time our division staff was the shiz. We had one of the best and most active divisions in KSI, with game nights almost every night. Hell, Halo 3 was at its' pinnacle then, and so were we. In that time after I became General I was running one of the best squads in the div (in my opinion), and I was finally finding my place. At that time Fuzzy had been promoted to Director and was given command of a new div, called Guerilla Warfare. He needed people to help build it, and I went. I also consider this to be the beginning of my true KSI career. Guerilla Warfare (Building a Division) I learned a lot in GW, and not all of it was good. The guy who was chosen as the Div leader was a member who had just returned and lobbied to create a division. Because he was Old School they granted his request. At first he seemed like and awesome guy who was giving me an opportunity to lead, but he really turned out to be a guy who wasn't that great of a mentor, and to me, only seemed like he cared about having the biggest div. I was placed as the Co Founder of the division, and we orignally had two squads. A Halo and a Call of Duty squad. Because of the emphasis on recruiting, our division grew really fast. However, because we didn't really have the leadership to sustain the numbers, we quickly ran into troubles. It wasn't long until the division leader left, and we were left scratching our heads. At that point I was put into the position of Division Leader, even though I wasn't really ready for it. However, it also marked the first time I ever had my own. I think no matter when you are promoted to that position, you really aren't ready, but you learn by doing it. Sadly, I wasn't able to keep the division together and it died. I failed, but in that moment I learned what it takes to run a div. I made sure it wouldn't happen again. My Return to Semper Fi It was hard to find a place that wanted me, seeing as I had just let a division fail, but I ended up on my feet. I returned to Semper Fi as an advisor, simply because there really wasn't any place for me. Basically all I did was advise on clan ops, help out where needed, train, and recruit. After a while a position as a Co Founder came open, and with the blessing of the division and Fuzzy I took it. For the first time I was able to put all of the lessons I had learned into practice, and before long I was the division leader of SF. For the first time I was actually running a division like I knew I could. We had the division up to about 400 members with squads on all FPSs immaginable. We even had a European squad. We were active, fun, and close knit. I also had an amazing group of officers. After a couple of months I was given a chance to do what I had always wanted to; be a director. My First Stint as a Director Even though there wasn't a need, Fuzzy and the other seniors promoted me to Director. At first I was only over SF, and to be fair, I don't really know what divisions I got later. To me this was a position where I learned how to be a Senior Leader. During this time Fuzzy trained me over some new topics, specifically performance operations. Because I didn't have many divisions I, along with Rebellion, was made the Communications Director of KSI. We were in charge of creating a centralized communication structure for all divisions and leaders. I'm sure something still exists today. After a few moths I continued to be a Communications Director, but I was also given a new position; Performance Officer. Performance Officer Fuzzy was just given the position of Chief Performance Officer, and with it the department of performance operations. When he started it he chose me to be a part of it. Not only was it a new job, it was also a promotion. At this point I became a Senior Leader within the community. Basically I was a Senior, but without the clan ops responsibilities. Part of my job was to go around the community and train, resolve disputes, talk to people, and just interact with the community. When it came down to it I was a Human Resource Officer. My job was to make sure no problems ever arose, and I feel as though I did a good job. It was honestly my calling in KSI, and I did it for quite a while. However, then United happend. Director over all KSI Divisions The United Split is something some of you may be familiar with. Basically it was the single largest hit ever done to KSi. In fact, we basically split in two. A majority of the senior leadership decided that they wanted KSi to be their own, and took almost every division and created KSI United. With that we lost a majority of our directors and senior directors. I stepped down from my position as Performance Officer and acted as the director over all KSI Divisions (I think it was all of them). I did that for a while and worked on condensing divisions and rebuilding what we could. I remember working really closely with KSI Tex 7. However, and this is perhaps my biggest regret, after a while I decided I couldn't do it. I followd a majority of the members over the United and started a new. I want to make this clear: In my opinion KSI Rebellion 7 is perhaps the most important member in the past 5 years simply because she stepped up and rebuilt the community after I dropped the ball. When I talk about missed opportunites, this is it. I could have stayed an become something, but I didn't. I went over to United, built up XD as a part of the Troublemaker Empire, and eventually became a founding father of TMG. However, like most members, I realized the mistake I made a returned to try and finish what I started. The Return to Xero Degreez Luckily Fuzzy was nice enough to give me another chance, and I reassumed my position as performance officer. However, I felt like I had something to prove, so I vacated my position and went to XD (our XD, not United's). I took my time rebuilding the division to about 300 members, and after a while I was once again promoted to Director. I worked my way back up from Founder to Director, not because I wanted to, but because I felt I had to. I felt we had created something special, and I retained control of XD and was given control of Fierce Rebellion (The all Euro div). Director of XD and FR FR was largely innactive, so we took the opportunity to create something new. I gave command of the division to KSI Airborne 7, and he really took the reigns and created something awesome. I don't remember what he renamed it to, but it lasted for quite a while. In my opinion I was running two amazing divisions. However, life got way too busy, and I had to step down. There are lots of things I never accomplished, but I am proud of what I did. Basically, I was never the ideal member. I left a lot, got way to many chances, and probably didn't deservec them. However, I feel like I proved myself in KSI, and it's always going to represent an amazing time in my life. Since I stepped down, I've tried to come back multiple times, but I've never had the time to dedicate myself. This summer was my last attempt, as some of you may know, but life once again got too busy, and I dropped the ball. Perhaps in the future I will return and do the one thing I never have; become a Senior. More than likely this is the complete history of my KSI career. Maybe it's boring, maybe it's not. I just wanted to share it since Fuzzy, and so many others shared theirs. Have fun! KSI is something really amazing... In one way or another I was in KSI from 2008ish to 2012/2013. I'm sure I forgot a lot, but 5 years of experience is a lot to remember in detail. As you can tell XD and SF were my homes, and that is what I am truly proud of.
