I have a topic that is Hot, It Is about old squads and may have some information that someone somewhere may find usefull

I feel as if this topic isn't necessarily relative to improving KSI, but rather just finding out about an older squad or history of the community. The only way I would see this as improving upon KSI currently, is that it provides information to members who have not been around that long or those who do not know much about KSI's past squads/divisions. 

Informational, yes. But it's not quite what the department is looking for in terms of assisting and/or improving KSI.

If there are no objections from the staff within 24 hours, I would like to close this.

I'm going to go the opposite direction from the rest of the staff.

 

It's a yes on Hot Topic from me. The reason why is I feel it is very difficult to find a topic that genuinely benefits the community, but is also an intersesting point of discussion. To me, this is just that. While it may not be as "hot" or beneficial as we may like, it does open the door for members to learn about the history of KSI. To me that is important because we need to understand where we came from, why we are where we are now, and where we are going to go. This helps unearth the oldest squads, which gives them the recognition they deserve, but also the oldest members. Not only does it give them recognition, it can help us to locate them and perhaps they can give sound advice being "old and wise" haha. So there it is, to me this benefits the community and is a hot topic.

While I feel this is a really great topic, it is a no from me. I agree with Doc on this one. I feel like this topic is great, but it's purpose has already been served. I don't see it continuing on and on to help improve the community. Great job though!
