Fifth Kazekage 149
Many people enjoy the pleasures of American football as we know it today. However, certain actions catch the attention of anyone, football fan or not. Recently, Richard Sherman definitely met the standard for attention grabbing. Most of you may know of Richard Sherman’s interview that occurred after the Seahawks beat the 49ers to advance to the Super Bowl as he exploded on interview. As reporters asked questions, Richard retaliated by hollering out like a mongol. A memorable quote from the interview by Sherman was, "Don't you ever talk about me!". Was Sherman in the right? In his defense, you're talking to a man full of energy after he sent his team to the Super Bowl. What can you expect? He even apologized to the people he could have offended. To add on, He also said, “I probably shouldn’t have done that. I regret doing that.†On the flip side of things, his actions were unruly and disrespectful. No matter what side you are on, consider this quote. “If you catch me in the moment on the field when I am still in that zone, I'm still as competitive as I can be. I'm trying to be in the place where I have to be to do everything I can to be successful and help my team win. Then it’s not going to come out as articulate, as smart, as charismatic - because on the field I'm not all those things.†What do you guys think? Do quotes like this change your opinion? Is this honesty?
