Toxic's Tricks and Tips

Hey guys! So this week I was thinking I would switch things up a bit and do something different.

This week, I'll be teaching you the in's and out's of recruting. Now, I'd like to think I'm getting good at this recruiting thing, since I do have 43 recruits and counting since I joined, but this guide will be here to teach you a few of my best tricks and tips to get you those quality recruits.

The utmost top rule you must remember is quality is more important than quantity. You would rather recruit three amazing people that have officer ability and are genuinely interested than ten people that will stay for a week and/or go in active.

Two main ways to get recruits are either sending out mass messages to your recent players, or even talking to the people in a lobby. Both methods work extremely well and I recommend both, it just depends on what you're more comfortable with.

Once you get someone that has the age limit or older of your division (Remember, these vary. Talk to your general or higher to find out what your's is) Pull them into a party and talk with them a bit and let them know some details about KSI.

Myself, personally, I don't like to load a huge amount of information onto people because I find it just confuses them and makes them not want to stay around. Don't tell them every detail about KSI unless they actually ask you about more. That way you're not bombarding them with information, and if they stay, you can teach it to them over time.

Let them know what KSI stands for (Knowledge Strength and Integrity) as well as letting them know around how many members we have and how long we've been around for.

Let them know your squad (most) have game nights during the week and that not everyone plays one game. We play a variety!

Once you've loaded up your recruit in his appropriate uniform (Motto, Bio, Colours, Service Tag, Clan tag, Emblem.) And have gotten their privacy settings and recruit tag friend request sent, I would suggest you do two things.

The first, being send out a text message to everyone in your squad letting them know who your new recruit is and that they should add him. Try and make sure they have one other KSI member on their friends list.

The second, don't ditch your recruit! If you just leave the party or game to get more recruits, that person is just going to feel lonely and not know what to do. This is such a crucial part of the recruitment process because this is a make it or break it point. Now, there's always situations where people have to go, and that's understandable. If you do have to go, at least introduce them to someone before you leave. That way, they're meeting other KSI members and they won't be alone!

I really hope this guide is useful for you. All these things I've stated has really helped me while recruiting and I hope it helps you as well! Happy recruiting!

This week, I'll be teaching you the in's and out's(take out the apostrophes) of recru[i]ting. Now, I'd like to think I'm getting good at this recruiting thing, since I do have 43 recruits and counting since I joined, but this guide will be here to teach you a few of my best tricks and tips to get you those quality recruits.

The utmost top rule you must remember is quality is more important than quantity. You would rather recruit three amazing people that have officer ability and are genuinely interested than ten people that will stay for a week and/or go in active(delete the space).

Two main ways to get recruits are either sending out mass messages to your recent players, or even talking to the people in a lobby. Both methods work extremely well and I recommend both,(change to semicolon) it just depends on what you're more comfortable with.

Once you get someone that has is of the age limit or older of your division (Remember, these vary. Talk to your general or higher to find out what your's(delete apostrophe) is) Pull(make lowercase) them into a party and talk with them a bit and let them know some details about KSI.

Let them know your squad (most*have has game nights during the week and that not everyone plays one game. We play a variety!
*I personally think this interrupts the flow of the sentence. You could either just take it out, or rewrite the sentence to say something like "Let them know about the activities your squad has to offer, such as game nights, teams, etc., and that not everyone plays one game." Not every squad has the same activities, but by saying "the activities your squad has," it's implied that it will vary. It's up to you though.

Once you've loaded up your recruit in his appropriate uniform (Motto, Bio, Colours(change to "Colors"), Service Tag, Clan tag, Emblem.) And(make lowercase) have gotten their privacy settings [in order] and recruit tag friend request sent, I would suggest you do two things.

The first, being send out a text message to everyone in your squad letting them know who your new recruit is and that they should add him. Try and make sure they have one other KSI member on their friends list.

The second,(replace comma with colon) don't ditch your recruit! If you just leave the party or game to get more recruits, that person is just going to feel lonely and not know what to do. This is such a crucial part of the recruitment process because this is a make it or break it point. Now, there's always situations where people have to go, and that's understandable. Changes have been made! Except I didn't change one, which was Colours to Colors. I'm Canadian, and that's correct for me so I'm going to leave it.

The majority of our member base is not Canadian and I would prefer not not confuse the readers. So when I said change it to Colors it wasn't a suggestion, besides that it's approved.
