Thursday Night Fights: 7s vs. Viewers

Thursday nights provide an opportunity for members to show off their skills and show the 7s of KSI who the real bosses are. Every Thursday, the upper leadership of KSI broadcasts battles on Call of Duty: Black Ops 2 or Halo 4 between the 7s and the members via Twitch.tv. In addition, the members who actively participate in the stream also have chances of winning prizes in giveaways. The live stream is a great way to get the community together to not only have a great time, but to create a closer bond between the leaders and their members.

 

The live stream occurs every Thursday evening at 7:30 PM EST on twitch.tv/ksilive, consisting of members and their 7s battling it out on either Black Ops 2 or Halo 4. Members who are interested in participating must be viewing the live stream and send out a message to the host on a first come first serve basis. Notably, the game that is played the most is Black Ops 2. With the COD-Caster feature, it makes it a lot easier for the streamer to view the player’s perspectives in the game. The game types vary between Team Deathmatch, Search and Destroy, Domination, and the 7s’ favorite, Hardpoint. The 7s are a great challenge to the members, so the satisfaction of winning against their higher ups is difficult to achieve. 

 

The leaders are the ones who stream each week for the 7s vs. Viewers match, including KSI HUCKLEBERRY7, KSI Illusii0N 7, KSI Apocawaka 7, and sometimes the members of the Productions team. One of the most important people of the stream is KSI QueenJess 7. She is also the main host and the talk of the stream, keeping it fun and interesting for the viewers. As the leaders and the members go at each other, from time to time, she will announce a giveaway and give out prizes such as hoodies, stickers, forums points, custom controllers and Xbox Live cash cards to a randomly selected member in the live stream. The 7s are a huge asset to the live stream.

 

Nevertheless, 7s vs. Viewers would not happen if it weren’t for the great teamwork and organization that the leaders put into it, and the participation that the members accommodate. It is a wonderful way to get the members and leaders involved with each other to have fun and to also show the gaming world that KSI is a tremendous gaming community.
