Badfur 13
Hey guys, due to recent events, I felt a topic like this is necessary. On the news team, we are looking for a couple things, we want you to be willing to write articles on various topics to present to our community, we want you to be willing to revise what you write (the bar for quality is a bit high - but we will work with you so that what you write reaches that bar), and we want you to express yourselves (respectfully). As a writer, what you write is up for display for the entire community. Sure, it will look nice after it has been edited, but it's still your work, with your name on it. If, through the editing process you disagree with a decision, talk to your editor. Editors bring it to a certain standard of quality, but at the end of the day, it's your article. So long as you can be respectful, disagreements and discussions are highly encouraged. What we don't want, is people to join the team, maybe write an article, and disappear with no notice for weeks. We don't want people to cause drama. We don't want someone to throw a hissy fit when someone says something they disagree with. Follow the rules, respect yourself, your fellow writers, your editors, and your superiors. If, as time goes on, you rise to a spot above others, then respect those below you, as you were there at one point. So, here's what we want: DO: - Write articles - Revise articles - Give notice if problems come up. - Be respectful. DON'T: - Cause drama - Have a temper tantrum if things don't go your way, or people disagree with you. - Disappear without notifying those in charge. - Ignore the rules, or this list. - Disrespect your fellows, and those that are (or will be soon) in a position over you. This list is subject to change as time goes on, check back every now and then.
 Awards
