The Entertainment Electronics Expo. Some of you are like what’s that…. Others know… It’s E3; the biggest event in a gamer’s life. To go is for some, it’s a life dream. The Holy Grail of Gaming. I agree but unfortunately KSI couldn’t send me there this year. Maybe next year (Hint KSI upper Staff).

But I’ve done the next thing. I’ve done my research, and collected the data. I’m here to present to you the big deals of E3 2013.

Call of Duty: Ghost

Now we are a big COD group. I’d say the majority of us play it. And Call of Duty Ghost has already announced they’ll be there with the XBOX ONE group with some multiplayer footage. But I, for one am like… And then what? We’ve all played Call of Duty. Some of us have played more than one. Some of the older members have played all eight-teen (that’s right have been eight-teen Call of Duty’s) and I’ll be honest. All the multiplayer has done is get a little prettier each time. And the last few times it hasn’t changed much at all. Sure I can say that the M27 is new and fancy. But can someone tell me that’s not a tweaked M4. Traps in the new titles sound like an improvement but to me, being one of the older members, I remember one Call of Duty United Offensive. A game with epic tank battles, artillery flying in, pitched battles, destructible (Not well done, but it was 2004) environments. Where did this go? Why can’t we have this Call of Duty?

Battlefield 4

This game has shown us the same footage for the past 2 months. I for one want more info. And frankly EA is always a big show boater. You know what the real problem is? I always come back for more. And I expect big things from the franchise’s newest title. On the PC that is. It’s a proven fact that games on the PC are always better. Sure it takes more work and there’s no such thing as quick scoping. But we get the graphics of a HDMI powered console but with bigger, more stable multiplayer and proper game physics. Battlefield 3 was a huge PC seller while XBOX and PS3 fans were teased and thrown under the bus time and time again. We can only hope they learned from the mistakes but judging from the fact that EA has already announced that China Rising is a preorder bonus DLC. Yeah it’s going to be one of those games. Go home EA you’re screwing my wallet.

Forza 5

There’s a reason why Turn 10 always shows up to represent the Xbox. And that’s because Forza is beautiful. I have never played a game where the cars were so detailed from the sounds right to each one of the 200+ cars in Forza 4 different dashes. Do the cars wreck into a million pieces? No. Do they have open world tracks? No. But I mean look at it. People put as much time painting their cars in Forza 4 as real painter would on a master piece work of art.  Some people spend weeks fine tuning there specs on cars to get a single turn down to a perfect turn. And since Forza 2 they are the ONLY game to never use CGI trailers. They use the in game video capture system to make the videos. Top Notch Turn 10.

Grand Theft Auto 5

Rockstar is a company that is constantly looked at like they are the newbie in the big world of game production because they rarely release a game. And when I say Rockstar I mean the original Rockstar. The one that only make GTA games, and made Red Dead Redemption. GTA 5 looks awesome. Almost like you’re getting 3 games for the price of one. And to be honest these characters are WAY better than the ones from GTA 4. I mean I can only hear HEY COUSIN. Before I want to shoot Roman across the map and teabag his corpse. What’s even cooler about GTA 5 is that we’ve been to San Andres before. This is the first time that a game has said. “Hey remember that level that was really cool. Let’s go back and do it all over again. But from a different perspective.†Not that it’s exactly the same San Andres. But you will often be treated to nostalgic moments from GTA San Andres.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag

Personally I feel like the assassin’s keep getting shorted every time they make a game. Assassin’s Creed was beautiful, simple, and fun. There were no gimmicks, just how good are your own skills were. Some players’ choice to was slaughter everyone in their path others said I won’t kill a single guard. Just the target. But it was your choice. But each game after that added more and more side missions to the game. “Buy this†“Build this†“Discover this†What happened to “Kill the crap out of that guy GO!â€? Hopefully Black Flag will at least be entertaining and if Desmond is gone there’s a good chance at that.

Watchdogs

This is a game that takes what we love in a game. Throws in a little bit of awesome creativity. And tosses it back at us saying take me I’m yours. Watch Dogs is an action-adventure stealth video game in which players control a man named Aiden Pearce who can hack into various electronic devices tied to the city's central operating system, allowing various methods for the player to solve numerous objectives. Take one assassinate target mission. You stalk your target threw the city, but not to find an alley, or a dark recess of the city. You lead them to a simple crosswalk, hack the traffic light, and watch as he gets run down by a car rushing threw a light. That’s pretty cool to me. I hope to see big gameplay footage from this title.

PlayStation 4

I’m not a big fan of the PlayStation 3. It was expensive. Didn’t look that great, and in my opinion had less games then the XBOX. But I’m expecting big things. They’ve managed to line up an early slot at this year’s E3 to showcase the new PS4. And a lot of the exclusives have done very well at hiding the footage. I have very little information on what will be showcased for the PS4. Some of the titles include Beyond Two Souls, a game featuring Ellen Page, and Willem Dafoe, both Academy award winning actors.  All while taking use of the Quantic Dream engine. Which is a scary realistic engine that was showed off last year at E3 using an android named Kara. And it was shown off using the PS3 engine. Now it’s going to be shown off with the PS4. Show us upgrades.

Beyond Two Souls

The Last of Us

The other Game being released using this super visual engine, and which won PS3 Best of Show at E3 last year from over a dozen different sites and magazines. Featuring a world destroyed by a fungus, and in chaos and disarray. The two protagonist Joel, a harden Black Market Dealer, and Ellie, a 14 year old girl with a strange connection to everything that's going on, try to escape the city. All while fleeing lawless gangs, a military that wants nothing more than to capture and study Ellie, and the inhuman infected mindless killing thing controlled by the fungus. They showed off big time last year here's hoping for a repeat.

Other games with less information include big titles like Kill Zone, Final Fantasy XIV, a Kingdom Hearts Remixed, and all to hit there stage at some point.

Now there are many many more games going to be there. But I can only hold your attention for so long. For a list of games that are coming out IGN has the biggest list at the moment. http://www.ign.com/wikis/e3/Big_Games_at_E3_2013 But more details will be released the closer we get.

To start: unless you are writing a review, keep your opinion out of the article. We're a news team, we relate news. Speculation doesn't jive well.

The Entertainment Electronics Expo. Some of you are like "what’s that?" Others know, It’s E3; the biggest event in a gamer’s life. To go is for some, it’s a life dream. The Holy Grail of Gaming. I agree but unfortunately KSI couldn’t send me there this year. Maybe next year (Hint KSI upper Staff).

Call of Duty: Ghost
Call of Duty was the game they Xbox choice to be there flagship during their new console reveal. And they came through with a game that captured the hearts of millions. By including a dog. Well a dog and a game that while not being entirely original was new enough that they are willing to through it in the list of 18 other Call of Duty games. While this is a game will be available for all consoles, the majority of the footage will be Xbox One. And you should pay important details for features they say are exclusive Xbox One. That will be your sign to know that the feature won’t be available on the Xbox 360.
Battlefield 4
Battlefield is a game of excellent quality that carved it’s niche in the gaming community a long time ago. This is actually the 13th game in the series and while the game has continued to deliver an excellent mix of vehicle warfare and infantry teamwork. But the major issue with the series is the addition of expensive DLC. While every Battlefield has had an expansion in some way or form, EA has seemingly managed make it worse by including overpriced “Premium Content†which never really includes extra game content. Rather you get artwork, covers, and walkthroughs. While EA has said online passes are a thing of the past you can bet they’ll sell a season pass for numerous DLCs that have already been listed to come out for this title.
Forza 5
There’s a reason why Turn 10 always shows up to represent the Xbox, and that’s because Forza is beautiful. There are very few games that have such attention to detail. From the sounds of the engine and road, right to each one of the 200+ cars in Forza 4 different dashboards inside the car. Do the cars wreck into a million pieces? No. Do they have open world tracks? No. But look at it. People put as much time painting their cars in Forza 4 as real painter would on a master piece work of art. They use the in game video capture system to make the videos. Top Notch Turn 10.
Destiny
Bungie is finally back, with their newest title. And while some say it looks like Halo it’s very far from that world. While Destiny story has been partially known for a little bit now. Only recently has the way the game will work been talked about. Using elements of Halo’s Match making system and taking Ideas from many MMOs they’ve developed a completely unique style of game which has lots of potential. Saying that the story can be changed through players interaction with the game world also shows that even by themselves, Bungie continues to show everyone how it’s done.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag
Ubisoft continues to steal shows with this series. Amusing characters, well written stories, and a little bit of history in every game. While Black Flag strays off the past of actual written history it takes place in the Caribbean Islands, and do not expect to see Captain Jack Sparrow. But, you may run into other infamous pirates that once roamed the area. Expect new gadgets and side missions, along with the use of multiple type of ships as 40% of the gameplay will be on the high seas.
Watchdogs
This is a game that takes what we love in a game, throws in a little bit of awesome creativity, and tosses it back at us saying "take me, I’m yours." There is very little information on what will be showcased for the PS4. Some of the titles include Beyond Two Souls, a game featuring Ellen Page, and Willem Dafoe, both Academy award winning actors. Two Souls uses PlayStation’s new Quantic Dream Engine, a very powerful engine that uses stunning details to make you feel connected to their characters. This will be the first time we see this engine running on a PlayStation 4.

The Last of Us

The other game being released using this super visual engine, which won the PS3 Best of Show at E3 last year from over a dozen different sites and magazines. I will also continue my own coverage and will most likely write a follow up article on E3 after the fact.

Recently they announced that what the players do in the game will effect future changes in the game. Proving that Bungie still knows how to make a lot of hype and keep our attention.

Assassin's Creed Black Flag

Ubisoft continues to steal shows with this series. Amusing characters, well written stories, and a little bit of history in every game. While Black Flag strays off the past of actual written history, it does take place in the Caribbean Islands with 4 towns spread out on separate islands. You may even run into infamous pirates that once roamed the area. Expect new gadgets and side missions, along with the use of multiple types of ships as 40% of the gameplay will be on the high seas.

Watch Dogs

This is a game that takes what we love in a game, throws in a little bit of awesome creativity, and tosses it back at us saying "Take me, I'm yours". Watch Dogs is an action-adventure stealth video game in which players control a man named Aiden Pearce who can hack into various electronic devices tied to the city's central operating system, allowing various methods for the player to solve numerous objectives. Take one assassinate target mission; you stalk your target through the city. You don't find an alley, or a dark corner of the city, you lead them to a simple crosswalk, hack the traffic light, and watch as he gets run down by a car rushing through a light. That's pretty cool.

PlayStation 4 Titles

Sony has managed to line up an early slot at this year E3 to showcase the new PS4, and a lot of the exclusive games, have done very well at hiding the footage so they don't accidentally leak to much information. There is very little information on what will be showcased for the PS4. Some of the titles include Beyond Two Souls, a game featuring Ellen Page, and Willem Dafoe, both Academy award winning actors. Two Souls uses PlayStation new Quantic Dream Engine, a very powerful engine that uses stunning details to make you feel connected to their characters. This will be the first time we see this engine running on a PlayStation 4.

The Last of Us

The other game being released using this super visual engine is The Last of Us. This post apocolyptic title won the PS3 Best of Show at E3 last year from over a dozen different sites and magazines. Featuring a world destroyed by a fungus, and in chaos and disarray. The two protagonists Joel, a hardened Black Market Dealer, and Ellie, a 14 year old girl with a strange connection to everything that's going on, try to escape the city. All while fleeing lawless gangs, a military that wants nothing more than to capture and study Ellie, and the inhuman infected mindless killing things controlled by the fungus. They showed off big time last year, here's hoping for a repeat.

Other PlayStation games with less information include big titles like Kill Zone, Final Fantasy XIV, Kingdom Hearts HD 1.5 ReMIX. All set to appear on Sony's stage at some point during the convention.

There are many, many, more games going to be there, for a list of games that are coming out IGN has the biggest list at the moment. More details will be released the closer we get  http://www.ign.com/wikis/e3/Big_Games_at_E3_2013

Remember that the convention is 3 days long and not every game that is at E3 will be publicized. I will also continue my own coverage and will most likely write a follow up article on E3 after the fact.

The Entertainment Electronics Expo Electronic Entertainment Expo. Some of you are like "what’s that?" Others know, it’s E3; the biggest event in a gamer’s life. To go is for some, it’s a life dream. The Holy Grail of Gaming. Here are some of the big deals of E3 2013.

Call of Duty: Ghost

Call of Duty was the game they Xbox chose to be there their main game title during their new console reveal. They came through with a game that captured the hearts of millions, by including a dog. Well, a dog and a game that, while not being entirely original, was new enough that they are willing to through throw it in the list of 18 other Call of Duty games. While this is a game that will be available for all consoles, the majority of the footage will be Xbox One. And You should pay attention to details for features they say are exclusive Xbox One. That will be your sign to know that the feature won’t be available on the Xbox 360.

Battlefield 4

Battlefield is a game of excellent quality that carved its niche in the gaming community a long time ago. This is actually the 13th game in the series and while the game has continued to deliver an excellent mix of vehicle warfare and infantry teamwork. But the major issue with the series is the addition of expensive downloadable content. While every Battlefield has had an expansion in some way or form, EA has seemingly managed make it worse by including overpriced “Premium Content†which never really includes extra game content. Rather, you get artwork, covers, and walkthroughs. While EA has said online passes are a thing of the past, you can bet they’ll sell a season pass for numerous DLCs that have already been listed to come out for this title.

People put as much time painting their cars in Forza 4 as real painters would on a master piece work of art. Some people spend weeks fine tuning there specs on cars to get a single turn down to a perfect turn. And since Forza 2 they are the ONLY game to never use CGI trailers. They use the in game video capture system to make the videos. Top Notch Turn 10.

Destiny

Bungie is finally back, with their newest title. And While some say it looks like Halo, it’s very far from that world. While Destiny story has been partially known for a little bit now. Only recently has the way the game will work been talked about. Using elements of Halo’s match making system and taking ideas from many MMOs, they’ve developed a completely unique style of game which has lots of potential. Saying that the story can be changed through players interaction with the game world also shows that even by themselves, Bungie continues to show everyone how it’s done.

Assassin’s Creed Black Flag

"All set to appear on Sony's Stage at some point durning the convention."

'during' is spelled wrong, and it should be Sony's 'stage'.

"While Black Flag strays off the past of actual written history it takes place in the Caribbean Islands with 4 towns spread out on separate islands. "

put a comma after 'history'. While this [comma, space] something else.

Watch Dogs, this part is from my edit: "take me, I’m yours."

Now look at yours, what's the difference?

"and a lot of the exclusives games"

Exclusives games? Really.  I suggest 'exclusive games'...  something you'll see in my edit, which you ignored.
