Like the first Kinect, the Xbox One will use an upgraded recognition, allowing Skype to be compatible with the Xbox and used as the chat for Xbox. The Xbox One's online friend list will cap at 1000 friends. In order to play games on the new console you will have to sign in to your Xbox live account at least once every 24 hours because all memory, game saves, content will be stored on cloud storage. So that means if you can't connect to internet once every 24 hours you can't play your Xbox. The Xbox One servers will be scaled 300,000 servers compared to Xbox 360's 15,000 servers.
