So..this just got asked of me...and i sat there stumped for how to answer

Metalhead asked:

Why arnt the Of the Month awards for Each division.....

(hes refering to the of the months with exception of Senior of the month)

He asked wouldnt it be easier to have them Set up so that Each division is FAIRLY Rep'd.

Then out of those. the Over all Members are then put into a of the Month seperate to them, and The Best of the Best are picked.

so it would be. the Of the Months. and then the BEST of the months

So that his Question would = this

Example: (pardon the names)

LS: of the months. KSI Epic one, KSI But head.

LE: KSI I RULE.....and so on and so on

SH: KSI I am in SH......and so on

then the best from each div goes onto the Very best of the Month.

Fairer.....Better.....and allows For Each Divisions Talent to be Repped.

Then out of the winners the Best of them gets put in for BEst of the Month...

what you think? Promote more usage and Recognition right?

It's not a bad idea.. although obviously most divisions have 1 div leader, 1 co-div, .. 1 or 2 founders and about the same for Co-fo.

It makes the Race more about Generals... but if thats the case wouldn't we put up captains and Lt's too?

it may make the divisions themselves equally repped but it wouldnt make the people in the division better repped. A LT who brought their squad back from the brink may not be known as well as a very personable founder or codiv. I think that would make it mostly about who you are friends with. With it distinguished by rank, it forces them to explain why they are the best at their job as opposed to just being the best in the division. Each rank in a div is held to a different standard.

that would mean a reprised version of the System.

Rct to CPL wont work since they are so short term for the large part

so SGT, LT CPT, Major (if used)

and thats the point....Getting Recognised for working hard is a great feeling. Most of the hard workers just get ignored in the current system

The idea is good, but I think we should make the best for each rank (Like we have been) then the best overall member (Any Rank) in each division and vote they way your talking about and have it set for that award on the side.

thats why we would have to Tailor the system abit better....Becuase the current of the months are out dated.....Piss poor worded. And only allow what 8 people to be recognised?

If you are thinking the award is "LE person of the month" for example. No based on what i said. If you are thinking "SH Cofo/General/member of the month" i say no because you will probably get, if you are lucky, 5 people voting for SOME of the categories, most likely their generals or their friends. Too much hassel. Maybe if you make it like "DH Member/General/Upper Leadership of the month" that at least has SOME workable flaws but i would still think its too much hassel.

so....if giving an option to praise divisions (basicly a ninja way to improve Moral and Working ability) is bad?

i'm saying you wouldnt get a big enough turnout. you'll have a lot of ties and the winners would pretty much be decided by 3 to 5 people voting. Look at all the peopel we had vote. Now divide that number by the number of divisions we have. Thats assuming everyone voted for every category and that each division has an even number of people voting. Which they dont but in a perfect world, lets just say the have and they do. Its not a high number. It will be very biased. Especially if new members are voting and they dont know more than 5 members in KSI

SO honestly. If the entire Point of putting the Idea from a member that could potentialy give Each Division Some Well Needed respect and awards....is your idea of a bad option?

It was somethign i was asked, Sat here and thaught about. and hey Guess what......Looks like a good. Idea.

So before you sit and Rip down something that Quite Frankly Should get The Talent of the divisions Noticed, Think about the Fact that How easy the Current OF THE MONTH awards set is to Rig, and how easy its been done before.

Not Trying to be a Richard but im sure as hell tired of people Not thinking about who they nominate, OR the simple Fact there are countless people Who Should Be getting awarded the Of the Months...but hey its not like letting all the Actual Talent in a division Be hidden away and never get credit instead the credit goes to some lame ass hack of a General who Has ridden on the Hard work of those under him....without Doing anything themself.

OR the people who are just retarded;ly Social and friends with all.....getting wins just becuase they had friends all post them.?

Key point....and case, DH was acussed of rigging AAP becuase some of the Votes were Discounted or Contested. and Alternatives chosen.

Which we all remember atleast Staff during the time Supposedly NEVER happened.

However It was Forced back to the results that were DH heavy....thats why we Must change the system

To date has had probably abit over 400 Total Votes....I mean Jesus....Its honestly like people dont know any names other than the ones they vote for in the past.

SH promoted the OF THE MONTH awards but these things should be brought up in each squads meetings. There is always going to be people out there who vote for who they are friends with because they don't know other people. If we bring this up to everyone you are set for people just voting for whom they are good friends with. So instead of looking at what the name of the person who was nominated look at the description of what this person has done and make the decision off of that not how many people nominated the person.

and a though for the of the year awards, have all votes for that be secret, maybe make another account and only have head and co head of AAP be able to see it, all members can PM there votes to that account, that will kill the favortism Poop cuz the people wont know who voted for them

Is it not possible that some times the people who get the most nominations may actually be the best at their jobs? Just because someone agrees with the majority vote doesnt mean they are being lazy. It means they agree.
