Got it. Will spread it out again. We had a pretty decent nomination turnout last month, lets beat it.

I'll be disappointed if we don't  maybe last month seemed decent compared to the past few before that, but the hard truth is that we're still quite far away from the turnouts we had a year or so ago, and my goal is to get back to where we regularly beat the old records of turnout, not just the previous month  but then like I mentioned, it's not all about number of nominations, it is all in the end about quality of nominations, and here we are even further behind. With that in mind, it would be nice to see you guys try to work on posting your own nominations up and make sure to focus on the quality when writing them  after all, hearing that someone is doing exactly what they should be doing in the position they are, we want to hear how they are outperforming all expectations

So Airborne nailed it. 

There was one person who had under 40 posts when his nomination was counted.

We need to be a little more careful next time. Its a pain I know but we're getting there.

Alright a few things guys,

First of all Who wants to do the vote assist this month? Message Emmy and she'll get you set up.

Second of all, there are 4 open nominations which I called for remaining staff votes on sunday....and Ive called on you again, 3 days later for the same thing on the same nomination, with no movement in between this. Is there any reason? These people are not being awarded because of this.

If you are unable to vote for some reason ping me a message so I am aware, rather than waiting for a vote which will not come.

Well we need to get more messages out as divisional leadership to our lower ranking members. We only have about 7/8 replys on the the otm awards. That's just upsetting to see. I've been pushing it in my divison. Having the gens send out messages and get with there members and announce it at meetings.

Alright, guys, sorry for my absence, just had thesis examinations and graduation taking up all my time for the past week (plus birthdays and stuff, why's everything gotta happen all at once? XD) But Badkitty and I will work on getting the vote assist out in no time, so you guys just gotta make sure to keep doing what you do with regular nominations until we get OTM voting up and running again!

Just as an FYI - I'm not ignoring y'all or the awards. I'm currently moving and as such my Wifi has been turned off in order to move the service. 

Im still checking in but awarding things on mobile is a massive pain

I wasn't aware that the OTM voting was going to be opened and closed within 2 days. I don't get on the forums on the weekends usually so I guess I didn't even see that the voting topic was posted.

Also just so you guys know I will be on vacation starting tomorrow through the weekend, so I most likely won't be on the forums at all this week.

For several months now we have had a 48h voting window, so this is not a new procedure. Scotland and I have tried to convey to you all many times that we want these things be be quick and smooth, and have therefore trained you guys to keep your eyes open for these things in the first day or two of the nominations closing. But I do hope this month was merely an anomaly in term of turnout  

To be quite frank with you guys, I'm disappointed in this month's OTMs, both in nominations and voting in here. I know we all have a lot going on, and when you cannot get on as often as we expect (which frankly is every day) we do need to know this to adjust accordingly. That doesn't mean that real life isn't more important, merely that things fall apart if we don't trust and communicate with each other. That being said, the votes have been compiled, but Scotland and myself need to review the votes before we can announce the winners. 

With this being said, I'm working on getting some feedback on things out to you guys, so that we can work together and improve this department in all its aspects. Hopefully it'll get posted up soon, but cannot make any promises with myself being as busy as most of you guys.

Nope I agree 100% I would like to see better turn outs both nominations and staff votes as well. There has to be some type of way to get the word out about the otms and get people motivated to do it. When I was div leader I sent out messages to my staff and to all my members and had my members also spread the word still couldn't really get many people to vote.
