Alright ladies and gents, my apologies for taking so long to get the voting up and running.

So as usual take a look at the vote assist and make your choices from there. 

Ensure there is no bias, and crack on!

I will keep it open for 72 hours, I expect everyone to vote!

Just to let everyone know that one of ElkRams nominations is under spiders nominations in the staff voting assist thread. So make sure you are reading through the nominations thoroughly.

I want to welcome all of the new staff onto the team! We have a lot of responsibility here and I couldn't think of a better group of people to be in this department!

So first of all guys - I want to say a huge thank you, for the new staff and old.

I have been department head over the AAP for over a year now and this is the first time I have had 100% Staff Participation in an OTM Vote. 

 

I can sincerely say I am excited for what y'all are going to bring in the future for this department!

Now I am going to look at making us more proactive in regards to spreading our Goals to the community. I will be getting with some of you to pilot a few ideas I have.

Once again please if you have any ideas for the advancement of the department please don't hesitate to message me.

One thing I have learned since becoming a leader within KSI is that sometimes, you have to make your own work. Not everyone knows that the AAPs are and until recently, I myself didn't realize just how many people in my division alone that had lists of awards that they could be capable of receiving.

I bet that if we actively went out and looked for people who could get one of the simpler awards such as "Committed' or "Gamerscore Hoarder," there would be a lot more recognition of the fact that this department is here to reward people for their hard work.

Just to clarify, I do not mean giving out an award without the proper post being published. Any sort of award for hard work is motivational and encourages more of the same hard work. So let's tell people to get these nominations going, let's spread the word about the more popular nominations and open up more of this community to the forums aspect of KSI.

I'm super pumped to have this opportunity, and I will run with it. (wish I had an emoji of scissors)

So, guys, things are going great, but there are a few things that I want to mention to everyone. If a nomination isn't done in the correct format, they are ineligible and closed, we reenforced this rules a few months back, they will have to make a new topic instead, but if staff starts voting and stuff that becomes difficult. Please keep this in mind. 

Second, staff does not argue or discuss the rules in a nomination. If we have questions or uncertainty, we discuss it in here or you send a pm to myself and Scotland. Anything else seems unprofessional and reflects poorly on us as a team. 

But aside from this, keep up the good work!
