Throughout this month he not only has been there for DM during a few instances that required his attention but he has also gotten the Headhunters season started up and running. Headhunters has gotten off to a bit of a rocky start mainly due to the highly competitive nature of the players (there not used to loosing) but along the way Gambit has been very patient with the players and reminding them that it’s just a game and for fun. Gambit is always there for his people which is truly a great quality for a leader to have. Gambit has always been an amazing leader and always helps out whenever possible a great example of what leaders can and should be. Director Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad) - KSI TexAngel 7 Director Link to forums account - @KSI TexAngel 7 Reasoning why they deserve this – Tex has always been there for DM whenever we need it. She’s always around to offer her sage advice. She always has that perfect balance that allows us to do our work without interference but she is always right there for us usually making fun of us. She like others before her have really helped not only myself but my entire 7's staff become better. Over the last month she provided everything we needed for a split in a timely manner and even though she doesn't like giving bad news when we mess up she still does it to make certain that we learn from our mistakes which makes us better leaders and more importantly a better Division. DM has been blessed to have her as our director and we look forward to having her as our director for many more months to come. Founder Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad) -KSIXROMEO 7 DM/Founder Link to forums account - @KSIxROMEO 7 Reasoning why they deserve this – Romeo over this last month has been doing not only every he should be doing but far more. It’s been a while since DM has had a squad split and the first time for Romeo being a 7 not that you could tell. Venom was nearing it’s split almost 1 year after her initial split which he took and was the General. So this split was personal he was like a proud grandpa helping his baby split. Of course he didn’t want anything to go wrong the man pretty much worked day and night making certain everything went perfect. It did have it’s ups and downs mainly the Romeo curse (lack of officers) put he never gave up and always helped the GEN and officer staff make a beautiful and long overdue split. Now one might assume that with him spending all this time on one squad his other squads might not get the attention they need they would be incorrect. Romeo spends a lot of his time for KSI including while he’s at work he might not be able to always play games but he is always on the app hanging out with members, attending meetings and making certain everyone is having a great time. He is always looking for ways to not only improve himself but those around him. He never really complains about the work he just does what’s needed of him and he does it well. He is one of the best leaders I’ve had the pleasure of working with and with him and a few others it truly feels like I’m not only working but playing with the dream team. Co-Founder Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad) - KSI Dragons 7 DM/Co-Fo Link to forums account - @Dragons 7 Reasoning why they deserve this – Dragons is one of those special people that rarely comes along. Over the last month he not only has been over 3 squads but he has been the acting GEN of one of those. He not only takes the time to run a squad and train up a strong officer staff but also do everything he can to help the other squads. Although it can be frustrating for him when things don’t go as planned (which they rarely do) but he never gives up and never surrenders all while keeping an optimistic almost child like enthusiasm about him. It’s one of the many reasons why people love hanging out with him and giving him a hard time which he takes like a champ that he is. Dragons is always trying to come up with new (sometimes wacky) ideas but their always welcome and appreciated. Dragons is always willing to pass along his vast knowledge and to learn anything he can to be a better leader, he is also a pivotal role in making the dream team the success that it is. General Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad) - KSI MeShell 7 General/Cruelty/DM Link to forums account - @KSI MeShell 7 Reasoning why the deserve this – MeShell what can I say about her that hasn’t already been said. She like so many of the great people in DM that I’ve had the pleasure of working with is a shining example of what it means to be an officer. MeShell not only takes the time and effort everyday for her members but she does it with such enthusiasm that it gets exhausting especially for this old man as she likes to refer to me. She is always in party’s forcing people to have fun running around on Roblox or singing the baby shark song. She’s always posting in her squad chat saying good morning asking how people’s day is going and just being an awesome person. DM is lucky to have her and it wasn't an easy choice trying to decide which General to nominate, but she more than deserves thus award. Captain Gamertag (Rank - Division/Squad) - KSI Joe 7 General/DM/Sinister Link to forums account - @KSI Joe 7 Reasoning why they deserve this – I’ve known Joe for a really long time since day one in KSI and he hasn’t really changed all that much. He’s still obsessed with Alexa bliss, (not everyone’s perfect) he always seems to do the work of 10 people hangs out with everyone and people flock to him. This past month Joe was instrumental in helping Venom split. He not only helped his GEN along the way in the day to day duties but with his vast experience this was his 4th split he was directly involved with. In the past week alone they managed to transfer everyone over except a small handful. Joe is always the first one to invite people to party’s say hi to members and he gets to know people’s names. Joe adds a personal touch in everything he does and motivates people to step up and help out. I can’t say enough about this man no matter what rank he is he always helps out. Romeo is one of those people that truly care about KSI and is willing to do whatever it takes to make certain DM excels. Throughout his time in KSI I’ve seen him take the lead by the horns so to speak when he stepped up and became an officer it wasn’t enough for him to just do his normal responsibility’s he pushed himself and others to strive to be better. As he moved up through the ranks and became a General he didn’t exactly have it easy. Several officers stepped down or stopped doing work which might have irritated him but Romeo wouldn’t give it up, his exact words were “hell I’ll just do it myself” and he meant it. One of the hardest things with him and anyone that has meet him would agree that he’s very stubborn. It took a while to get him to accept help from the 7's staff. Romeo was like “no it’s my responsibility and I’ll take care of it.” Even though we knew he could handle it he had nothing to prove to anyone. Throughout the time I’ve known him he’s smoothed out some of the rough edges and has become an outstanding leader in DM. He’s someone that always tries doing the right thing and doesn’t hold back his opinion even if he knows you don’t want to hear it. Even though he’s climbed through the ranks all the way to founder he hasn’t lost one of the most important quality’s that a leader can possess and that is that it doesn’t matter who you are he’s always willing to hang out and play games with people the reason why we joined KSI in the first place. Romeo more than deserves this award.

Out of all the senior directors it was a tough choice to choose just one to nominate but recently within the last 6 months or so Rita has stood out more. DM likes to take care of things themselves but in the instances where we did need help Rita was right there either giving advice or taking care of a situation that was a bit over our expertise. Rita is always there when you need him and also likes to just hangout and play games with the members. There have been a situation or two where he got yelled at and didn't deserve it but he calmly diffused the situation’s as any great leader would. In my opinion Rita stands out as the best at his position which really is saying a lot considering his competition. Whether it was through sage wisdom or just being there whenever I have a question or problem come up she is always available. I kind of felt sorry for her when she first became our director because for the 1st month or so every time she would pull me into a party it seemed like it was always bad news. It was something that we still joke about today it wasn't her fault she was just passing information along. She keeps telling us that we’re stuck with her a while longer but it takes time to get to know one's director and build trust with each other which Tex has done countless times I know that she is there when and if I need her and that she has my back, which helps me have the confidence to do my job. Category: Founder Gamertag: KSI FluffyPup 7 Forums link: @KSI FluffyPup 7 Reasoning: Kyle has done a lot for DM over time but I choose to nominate him for Founder of the year because I think that at that rank he has really shined at. When he’s asked to do something it’s usually sure no problem anything to help. He’s helped out on discord more times than I can count the amount of servers that he’s created to try and help out squads or DM as a whole. I know that not all of his ideas work out but it doesn't discourage him from trying again and again. One of his best ideas was the KSI everything you need to know DM specific. It’s a server for all the officers and any potential ones to join and it has quite literally everything an officer could need. This is just one example of the many things he’s done for DM. That is just the technical aspect. I’ve seen him take potential officers and officers under his wing and help them out by giving them advice showing special interest in them and helping motivate them to be better people. He plays games with the members and makes them feel welcome like any good leader would do. Even though he does get a little hot headed at times it does show his passion for KSI and it’s people when he sees someone being mistreated Kyle isn’t afraid to speak up in their defense and when he makes a mistake he owns up to it. I’m really proud of the leader that he has become. Category: Co – Founder Gamertag: KSI Dragons 7 Forums link: @Dragons 7 Reasoning: Dragons was a hard decision on what rank to nominate for but I settled on Co-Fo because he really has excelled at doing everything that was asked of him and then some. Dragons not only goes out of his way to play with his two squads but he goes around to other ones posting in different squad chats always offering advice and help to anyone that needs or wants it. He is always trying to improve his squads by coming up with different game plans finding out people’s strengths and weaknesses and using those strengths to better DM and improving their weaknesses to make them better. He never seems to lose his sunny disposition always having fun and showing the fun of being in KSI. Dragons like all of my 7's staff show an overabundance of willingness to do whatever it takes to make certain DM continues to run well. Dragons also went on the initiative and created a weekend warfare channel to help members find teams for T&E which it’s been getting used a lot. Dragons has been and continues to be a pillar for DM and I look forward to seeing what he does in the future. Since I’ve known him he has always been a people person. He goes into a party and starts a conversation and treats them like he’s known them for years. He earned being a general by way of taking a split which he was instrumental in doing. Shortly after the split several of his officer’s stepped down it was basically him and one other officer doing all the work until he found more officers. The one fault I can give him is with his pride he didn’t want to accept help from the 7's staff. Over time he grew his squad and his officer staff and did an outstanding job on growing and building a lasting foundation for his squad. Today his squad is the biggest most active squad in DM and it is due mostly to his leadership skill and those that follow him. He has since become a Co-Fo and he’s able to pass on that knowledge to two different squads. He’s usually one of the first people to volunteer to host a game night or host a workshop. I’ve seen him go out of his way to greet new members no matter what squad they are from he’s always there for them. When the squad is having problems he actively looks for solutions if those don’t work out he tries another tactic. AWOL is really big on communication with his fellow officers which has been crucial in helping out his squad. He hasn’t been doing it alone he’s not afraid to ask for help from his fellow officers which is a really good thing in a leader. AWOL really stands out to me because like everyone else that I nominated this year truly does care about his fellow KSI members and he took on rank and continues to help out. Category: Lieutenant Gamertag: KSIDntAskImAwf Forums link: @KSIdontask Reasoning: anyone that has meet Dontask would agree that she not only does her responsibility's as an officer above and beyond expectations but she also has a way with people that sets them at ease after a few minutes of talking to her. I’ve noticed that when she hosts a party people just love to join it and instantly start talking freely and open with her. It’s hard to describe because I’m terrible with words but she has a natural ability for a lack of a better word to actually listen to people and their problems sometimes she offers advice and tells something personal that she’s gone through so they know that their not alone. Other times or I should say always she finds a way to encourage them and motivate people to do better be better. Whether it’s her talking in a party or through words on discord or the forums she’s always helping build people up and helping never tearing anyone down. As a matter of a fact I don’t think I’ve ever heard her say something bad about someone I’ve seen her disapprove of something someone has done and corrected them but never tear them down. Category: SGT Gamertag: KSI MeShell 7 Forums link: @KSI MeShell 7 Reasoning: Over the last year MeShell has held several different ranks in KSI and at each rank she really hasn't changed just the level of responsibility. The reason one of many why I’m nominating her for member of the year is because since I’ve known her she has always done what she can do to help out. When she wanted a transfer to DM for a fresh start I was excited to have her here because I had seen how she was with her fellow members in CD. I knew that if she brought that mentality to DM she would be an excellent addition to our DM family. When she transferred she didn't want rank due to IRL and had to concentrate on her studies and rightfully so. When she came into DM it was to a squad that was in the process of rebuilding activity was pretty much non existent. MeShell was instrumental in helping boost activity she would join official and unofficial game nights and she would be the life of the party. She always encourages people to play together and just have fun. On top of that she’s always chatting with members in discord asking how their day is going and just being an all around great person. There are several people that I can think of to nominate for member of the year but MeShell really has a way of standing out. She genuinely cares about her fellow members getting them involved in games even Roblox a game several people swore they would never play but she showed the fun in it and gets people to play together. People enjoy joining her party’s and hanging out and everyone respects her because she respects them. Whenever he meets someone new he’s always says “nice to meet you dude nice to have you in KSI” on top of that Joe always likes to get to know the members and asks their names if they are comfortable sharing it with him and I don’t know how he does it but he actually remembers all their names when they pop into a party. That is the type of guy Joe is he cares about people he has been seen as a bit of a father figure, counselor and mentor to many in DM. Joe doesn’t care who you are he will play with you and help out. I was surprised to see that Tex hasn't received this award yet so I’ll put my 2 cents in. The obvious reasons why she deserves this award are simple she has been and continues to be there for her people whenever needed. She leads by example which I think is one of the best qualities a leader can have. When something comes up she always is there offering her sage advise/help. I didn’t really know her back when she was DIV leader but I can testify that I had heard about her and nothing but good things. Tex tends to have that commanding presence and although when she first became our director it seemed like every time we would get in a party together she always seemed to be giving me bad news I felt sorry for her but she always did her job and made certain that we did ours. Over time things settled down and she thankfully hasn’t had to give me bad news for quite a while but on a serious note I know that when I need her she is willing to drop everything and help DM out which is really great to see, because to Tex it’s not just a job or a responsibility to her she is one of the good one’s that truly cares and always goes above and beyond. I had a situation recently where I invited her to a party because I needed her help and I was trying to type out important so that she knew it was how important it was because she was in another important meeting but she joined before I could type one word out. She listened to the situation passed it along to the proper people and went the extra mile to make certain everything was taken care of . Tex has several prestigious awards already including OS Level 1, Founder of the year 2016, Div leader of the year 2017 she had a lot of competition for that one, and most recently she was put in ES Hall of fame so I would say in my humble opinion that she more than deserves this award. DM is really lucky to have such a great director.

Kyle is consistently hanging out with not only his squads but other members also. He is always hosting game nights he stays on top of his Gens making certain that they are doing there jobs correctly and that everything is running smoothly while letting the Gens do their jobs so that they can learn from their experiences. Whenever anything is asked of him he doesn't hesitate to do it. He's gone out of his way during spirit week and E3 to create channels on discord to help out everyone in DM and has helped make Discord more secure for its members. Kyle is one of those people that truly cares about his fellow KSI members and it's a big reason why I promoted him up to Co-Fo because one of the most important quality's a leader can have is truly caring about people and Kyle has that in spades. I look forward to seeing him climb through the ranks. GEN KSIxROMEO GEN venom DM @KSIxROMEO KSIxROMEO is one of my best Gens month after month because he always not only does his job consistently but he goes above and beyond. This last month he went out of his way to make certain not only his people but other people from different squads participated in spirit week and that they were having fun. He also constantly surprises me with the different things he does sometimes in a good way for instance he wrote this beautiful little speech about why Gens should want to vote in the AAP's in the Generals chat. I myself couldn't have written it any better than that. His words and actions prove that he doesn't care about the rank but he definitely cares about his people and in my opinion deserves GEN of the month. CPT KSI AWOL 4th CPT discord DM @KSI AWOL KSI AWOL even though he's been a caption for a short period of time he more than deserves this award because he's been doing the job of captain while being a LT. Awol not only has been doing his job as an officer but he's also co-head of the welcoming committee which has been a huge success in DM and is continuing to be so. One of the reasons why he's good at both jobs is because he's not afraid to ask questions if he doesn't know the answer which is really great to see because how else are we supposed to learn. I can see Awol climbing up the ranks pretty high if he continues doing the great work that he does. LT KSIDntAskImAwfl 3rd LT Venom DM @KSIdontask KSI Dontask Even though sometimes she's limited on time to help out her squad the time that she's on more than makes up for it. She spends a lot of time on the forums doing inspirational stories and on discord she's online playing games with not only her squad but with others as a member of the welcoming committee she's always reaching out to inactive members and new ones trying to integrate them. And as I've stated before She's kind of the life of the party people love hanging around with her because she enjoys hanging out with them. Member KSI MeShell 7 SGT Hellborn DM @KSI MeShell 7 KSI MeShell 7 is a recent transfer from CD and even though she doesn't want to take on rank for a while due to schooling she is still going out of her way to not only fit in to her squad but to integrate new members and old. She was put in a squad that was struggling having several inactive members but she's been going out of her way to invite these members around and get them playing games. Not only that but I've seen people come to her and ask her questions and she's more than happy to answer them.
