He's been through a lot in KSI and outside of Dan, he's the longest serving Department Head. He figured out, singlehandedly, the issue with the forums award system. Several admins had combed through the panel and everyone missed it, but him. He revitalized AAP department activity and supports KSI in so many fashions, not the least of which is his total cheerleader approach to participation and positive morale. Scotland embodies what KSI leaders should be, and as such, being a great role model for all of KSI's members, I nominate him for Member of the Year. He's come back and extended every olive branch and helping hand he could have. He's taken over group permissions and assignments in some regards while Luci has been busy at work and with other obligations. He provides help at every turn to each and every member who asks for it. He sits in on meetings and offers to help wherever he can. Doctor also assists current Clan Ops and Web Ops members with advice based on his experiences and expertise, and he's made the lives of Department Heads and Leaders way easier than most people can appreciate. Havoc did a wonderful job with the department, but Pliers took over from Havoc and not only maintained the level of excellence, but raised it. He has a motivated, creative-thinking staff that comes up with great ideas for KSI events. Participation in KSI events (Weekend Warfare, namely) is at a high level we haven't seen in years due to his guidance and wisdom. He is a motivated individual who is completely dedicated to making KSI the best gaming home on Xbox, and his tournaments and events staff feed off that energy and devotion. He has a bright future and might soon find his way to becoming Editor of KSI News... if he keeps interviewing members and writing pieces he, I, and the rest of KSI can be proud of. She's been my (and other Dept. Heads') go-to point of contact to get help or assistance with our Productions needs. She's assisted on producing and executing our weekly KSI Happy Hour and plays prominent roles in T&E and Clan Ops as well. She's still learning the ins-and-outs of KSI Productions, but she's on the path to excellence. GFX Name/ Gamertag: iAREGlum Current Rank/ Title in KSI: Graphics Department Head Category Nominating for: GFX Forums Profile Link: http://www.ksiforums.org/profile/202-des/ Reasons I feel this member should receive this award: Dan (his name is Dan, I swear) isn't the easiest person to work with. But he's damn good at what he does. He cares about the community a lot more than he acts, and he is always there to get our projects done when we need them. Well, except last year's OTY Award Winners graphics, but still. He gets so much done that increases the visibility and aesthetics of KSI's websites. He is the only constant on that team year in and year out, and it means a lot to all of us.

Not that it's needed, but I can confirm this. He should receive the Leadership Mentor award.

He's recruited in an active staff while being innovative in creating and advertising tournaments for the community. T&E has had, in my opinion, it's best month in several years as far as overall sign ups and community enthusiasm toward the department in August, and that's a direct reflection of Pliers' effort. If anyone deserves this award for August, it's him. In fact, I think he's done good enough to get the Co removed from his title. Make that Mpliers, Head of T&E.
