KSI VENUM 7 - "Honest, diligent, a dedicated leader and a man of his word." I've had the opportunity to watch VENUM grow and succeed in this community on three fronts. Rising up through the ranks in DW during 2018, he became a Division Leader this year. It was a well-deserved culmination, even though I'm sure not the end of his journey in Clan Ops. Whether it's mentoring, training, recruiting or simply leading by example, VENUM has given more time and energy to his division than most people can fathom. He has emerged as one of the most steadfast and dependable leaders in KSI. "He takes great pride in representing the Division the best he can. He is a hard worker when it comes to the Division, he's always up for teaching the people of DW and making them a better leaders as well as a better people!" (OS2 Nomination, August 2018) This is still true in every way. VENUM is always watching over the members of his division. To him, being a part of a division is just as much about having fun and hanging out as it is about training those around him to be the leaders of tomorrow. "He is extremely dedicated to his members and to DW, doing all that he can to be supportive of them. He's knowledgeable, loyal, and focused on one goal - which is to improve DW." (OS2 Nomination, August 2018) VENUM has been involved in Departments and Web Ops for a long time as well. I've observed him for many months now as he's worked hard to rebuild the Performance Ops branch of the community. It hasn't been an easy road but VENUM has proven himself equal to the task. PO has never had such a passionate and reliable leader as it has in VENUM. He's mentored many PO's, overseen the beginning of a new era of integration of the Department into Clan Ops and has succeeded in establishing a much more positive reputation for PO in KSI. His success as a Department Head is barely outweighed by his commitment to seeing his fellow members prosper and grow. VENUM has been a part of Web Ops too - a former Join Moderator, recently promoted to a Forums Moderator. It's very apparent that this man will stop at nothing to educate himself and get involved in KSI in every way he can. I believe that VENUM has absolutely earned OS3. His contributions to the community are as numerous as they are varied. Whether it's his rock-solid legacy in Clan Ops, his hard work and ingenuity in Departments or his diligence and knowledge in Web Ops, VENUM is an outstanding example of what a leader in KSI SHOULD be. VENUM doesn't change. And neither does his loyalty to his friends and his fellow members. This guy is gonna do great things. (Do MORE great things, I should say.) I'm stoked to see it.

KSI's last competitive Annual Event of the year is almost here! Turkey Bowl 2019 is set and we have dates, times and events - Event Schedule ✧ Day 1 - Friday 11/29 Brawlhalla - 2v2 Brawlball (KSILive @ 8:00pm EST) ✧ Day 2 - Saturday 11/30 Black Ops 2 - FFA (KSILive @ 4:00pm EST) PUBG - Duos (KSILive @ 8:00pm EST) ✧ Day 3 - Sunday 12/1 GTA V - Sumo (KSILive @ 4:00pm EST) Modern Warfare - 2v2 Gunfight (KSILive @ 8:00pm EST) Event Information Teams do NOT have to be Division-specific. Teams may be comprised of members from different divisions and regardless of rank in the community. Event sign-ups will be posted in the Turkey Bowl section on the forums. Keep your eyes peeled! If a team with members from different divisions wins 1st Place in an event, both divisions represented will receive 1st Place points toward Div Cup. Only individual prizes will be awarded during this annual event. Every 1st Place Winner in each event will receive a $10 MSP card. Event winners are responsible for messaging KSI Ace 7 (@KSI Ace 7) on the forums by December 31st, 2019 to claim their prizes. All teams must be comprised of KSI members who have been Omega registered at least two (2) weeks prior to the beginning of Turkey Bowl (registered as Private or higher prior to 11/15/19). Welcome to the Turkey Bowl 2019 Forums Challenge! Forums Challenge Poll This poll and thread will open at 7:30pm EST on Wednesday 11/27 and close at 7:30pm EST on Sunday 12/1. I didn’t like King for the longest time. When I first met him way back, I thought he was a punk. Now that I’ve known him for a while and been able to work alongside him in many capacities, I can say without a doubt - he’s definitely a punk. But. He’s a punk I’ve grown to respect and trust. Whenever crap hits the fan, King is one of the few people I know I can rely on. He’s my brother in arms and the guy I know I can vent to and be real with no matter what the circumstance. When it comes to Web Ops, we’ve tackled almost every issue and milestone together this year, as a unit. Working alongside RiiOT, King and I have operated as a team in many areas throughout the community. Forums management and security, the Join and Rejoin areas, the Moderator teams, to name a few. I’ve come to respect him for his passion and his dedication to KSI. That coupled with his extensive time IN the community, leaves no doubt in my mind that he more than deserves Most Outstanding. King’s reputation in Clan Ops is just as decorated. And worthy of just as much respect. He’s the one, greatest reason that the division ES was able to reorganize and pull itself out of very negative circumstances earlier this year. Because of his leadership and his commitment, that division has grown and evolved in many positive ways. I have to agree with KSI Hatter 77’s statement above: ”Without him, his encouragement to his members, or his knowledge of how to be a mender of broken things, I personally don’t think ES would be where we are today.” This is coming from someone who knows firsthand the irreplaceable role King played in his division’s resurrection. It’s very clear that without King, ES would be a much lesser division than it is today. Whether it’s in Web Ops, Clan Ops or fulfilling his role as a returning Performance Officer, King gives 100% to this community. And yes, like it’s been said before - he does “tell it how it is”. But the difference with King is that his heart is always in the right place. He never stops caring for his fellow members. And he never leaves his friends behind. These qualities make him an excellent leader, an effective mentor and an exceptional friend. This guy will continue to be a mover and shaker in KSI. I feel honored to be able to work with him and call him a good friend. King is one of the few people I feel absolutely deserves the Most Outstanding award.

I'm so glad this nomination is up. This member has contributed to KSI in an extraordinary amount of ways. Some of them probably aren't even apparent to the average person but they should be recognized nonetheless. I wasn't present for AIRBORNE's accomplishments when it comes to Clan Ops. (WI didn't socialize much lol) But the man obtained his 7 more than once before he retired to Department Operations. And he's done plenty in that arena to warrant this nomination. Conceptualizing the current KSI Courts Records system and hiring/training multiple Judges over the course of several years. Working as AAP Senior Staff for multiple years as well, to eventually become AAP Department Head. AIRBORNE is also a Forums Moderator and has been an awesome asset to Web Operations since he joined our Mod Team. AIRBORNE has accomplished many things in all three spheres of KSI. He's dependable, trustworthy, ambitious and never one to back down from a challenge. Recruited back in 2012, he's been in and around KSI for almost 8 years. That's an accomplishment in and of itself. AIRBORNE should be recognized for everything he's done and for the caliber of member he is. KSI AIRBORNE 7 deserves Outstanding Service Level 3.

Over a period 4-5 months, the three staff members above worked and planned to initiate a successful Department split, along with the assistance and oversight of @Scotland. This process entailed an entire Department overhaul, including a new focus and purpose for HSI in the community, new staffing standards, new responsibilities and jurisdiction within Department Operations and a new title and forums section, among many others. The History, Statistics and Information Department is currently responsible for actively gathering and organizing KSI community and member history, as well as keeping records of KSI events, updating monthly community participation logs and running the Spotlight Award Program. HSI exists to ensure that KSI’s history, statistics and information are recorded so that future leaders may look back, learn and appreciate the individuals who impacted this community. It ALSO exists so that the events of the present are seen as just as important as the memories of the past. HSI's split from News took place on January 1st, 2019. Due greatly to the continued dedication and hard work of KSI FadeZ 7, KSI Greenday 7 and their current staff, HSI has established itself as "well oiled machine" in the sphere of Department Operations. KSI December 77, KSI Greenday 7 and KSI FadeZ 7 deserve the Bright Idea award.
