    Having fluff in a squad would not merit an award either. All squads should be showing true numbers and not hold on to fluff to just look like numbers are higher. The logic on the award is to show sustainable growth as a new squad that has recently split, holding on to fluff is not a sign of sustainable growth. Additionally, even when considering the number of members that have been removed from the squad have for the most part been replaced with new, hopefully active, members. Even though you may not earn an award for splitting a squad, having a squad of active members will be much more prosperous than a squad that is holding on to fluff just to "look good". I hope that cleared things up for you as to why we have to consider various things when determining if awards should be awarded or not.

    Did Trocity split into Paragon? Also when did the split happen? Side note: both squads are under 50 members on G14, considering squads split at roughly 30-35 members neither squad appears to have grown by 25 members

    The "of the year" awards are handled differently than a normal nomination, they are more like the OTM's. If you would like to nominate someone for the best at that rank during the past month you can do so on this thread... Also for future nominations it will help if you read this post as well...
