Dude has done full division officer training. Over more than one div. From the moment wrath came to CS. Dude has been there to help anyway he can. Comes to hangout not only for business but just to play as a member. Swag is always great to be in a party with. Officer wise, swag gives great POV advice and leadership. Literally can come to him with any idea. He sets you up for success. Swag is what I expect from a Senior leader. Chill to hangout with but also knows when it's time to get work done. Every meeting uppish hosts is always informative and organized giving a clear game plan for division progression. Uppish is always easy to talk to and available to answer any question or just for advice. He is able to be friends while still managing the level of respect he has earned as div lead. He still continues to make it a point to meet each new recruit at some point in their KSI journey. With the goals set for where uppish wants to lead CS. He never shies away to get his hands dirty. Is action cofo over more than one squad when needed. Keeps up on his officer staff's progression and even provides a different way of thinking. Setting the standard high of where he expects his leaders to be. Uppish pushes for you to be the best you can be. Setting goals for officers that highlight members abilities or even creates them. Always looking at situations from more than just one perspective. He weighs his options based on logic and opinions of the people around him. Just that alone. Him deserving of being Div lead of the year. But let's mention his achievements. Division Creator Double Trouble Weekend Warfare Winner Weekend Warfare Champ Server Booster 2021 Donor Category: Cofo Gamertag: KSI Grogu 7 Forums Account Link / @: @KSI Grogu 7 Reasons they deserve this award: Grogu, aka Shatner, has always been a hard worker and a person everyone gravitates towards for advice. We first met when he was transferred to Wrath as a SSGT. Shatner has been reliable go-to guy right from the start. As a previous General, he knew exactly what to do and how to execute. Having him as a CPT was incredible, anything I would ask of him got done immediately. When it was just him and I running Wrath, the man was nothing short of a monster. Even with all the problems we faced, Shatner stuck it out despite the odds against him. He is a huge reason Wrath is still here. His leadership naturally permeated throughout Wrath and inspired others to imitate him & strive to out-do him. Shatner's ability to multitask effectively, never flinching or slowing down while setting the highest standards for Wrath. He trained a great officer core before being promoted up to Co-founder, where he's been a brilliant leader and masterful mentor. In his time as a CS Co-founder, Shatner has taken his skills to the big time. Showing the Div what they should strive to become. With clearing recruits, Shatner will have multiple recruits cleared within a short time. I've still been giving new recruits the run down and he will let me know they've been cleared. Anytime there's an issue either within the squad or within the division. Shatner has handled it with an open mind, solid problem solving skills, and fair judgment. His ability to train officers while solving issues has been on full display as CS has faced adversity the past few months. It's truly a quality of a remarkable leader. Guiding officers to figure out solutions by teaching them how to break down situations step-by-step has been amazing. It's helped officers & members alike solve issues throughout CS on their own before they have the chance to escalate to his level. Shatner also relays information well and makes sure it's understood. Man is an amazing recruiter, consistent at his duties and always goes out his way for members. While being a part of other departments, merc still remained consistent with his presence as gen in wrath. From taking lead in building the officer staff to being a great member. Merc sets his officers up for success by allowing each officer to train their replacement, giving a hand when needed. Following up making sure procedures are done correctly. He has easily recruited the majority of people in his squad. Sleepy is well known in CS as the face of calamity for all the hard work he has done from training officers and getting recruits. To being a great member, being a fun person to be around. While being in multiple departments(Clan Ops, News, Education, Leadership Council, Graphics), he still keeps up with his officer duties. When doom split he led the way for the procedure. Being on top of getting with most of the members for the transfer. He has proven himself to be a valuable asset to not only calamity but to CS. He has people from different divisions coming to him for advice. Sets a great example of how you would expect members to be. The little time he has been in KSI. Walrus has made his presence known. Category: Senior Leader Gamertag: KSI DC 77 Forums Link: @KSI DC 77 Reasons why they deserve this award: DC was instrumental in helping Wrath adjust to the transfer to CS, making sure every officer and PO were properly trained to the way that CS operates, and up to the standards expected across all of CS. He helped grow Doom to the point of a split, recruited like an absolute madman, and earned himself several awards in the process such as: Squad Splitter, Squad Builder, as well as a nomination into the CS Hall of Fame. And that's just what he accomplished on a squad level this year. He and his team created some amazing new CEP workshops that have certainly helped the community for the better, and the Officer Academy has pushed successful training into the stratosphere community wide. Without DC, we wouldn't have quality leaders coming through the ranks today, or powerhouse recruiters like Sleepy, MercX and a plethora of others throughout KSI making their marks on the community. I can personally attest that the 7s meetings I've been involved in with him are extremely informative, and he takes the time to listen to any concerns or issues we may face. Even with as busy as his schedule can be, he takes the time to pop in and at least say hi, and asks if there's anything we need from him. If time allows, he'll hop into the Gens meeting, and he'll even make room for a game night if he's not dog tired from a long day at work. That speaks volumes to me, because even at his level, he's willing to get around to the people that make up the majority of this community. He's always the first to tell you that without the members, everything else goes out the window and doesn't matter. Awards: Director of the Month Divisional Hall of Fame Division Leader of the Month Leadership Mentor Category: Division Leader Gamertag: KSI Uppish 7 Forums Link: @KSI Uppish 7 Reasons why they deserve this award: Uppish really came into 2021 with both arms swinging, ready to take on any and every challenge thrown his way. I've learned a lot from him regarding how to be a General transitioning to Co-Founder, and how to treat this role in order to continue being successful. You won't find a Div Lead that can truly say they know the vast majority of their members. Uppish can, because he makes the effort to get out in front of those who matter the most...the members. I've worked with him as a GEN in DM, under his guidance when he moved to CS as a Co-Founder, and now working with him as part of the 7s staff in CS with him leading the charge as Div Lead. Everything runs pretty seamlessly in CS, because we're able to work together, work with our officer staffs, and continue to ensure that the leaders coming up the ranks have the proper training and guidance to continue growing this community in a healthy direction. His squad continues to be a truly amazing example of how a squad should look and operate. He knows his people in and out, and runs the squad along with his officer staff with surgical precision. He can smell an issue from a mile away, and addresses it before it ever has time to fester or grow into a larger problem. His attention to detail is second to none, and I can think of no other person that deserves this award more than him. Awards: General of the Month General of the Month: Divisional x2 Pro Recruiter Novice Recruiter Outstanding Service LVL 1 Category: Captain Gamertag: KSI Sleepy Forums Link: @Sleepy Reasons why the deserve this award: Sleepy came out of the gate ready to learn anything and everything he possibly could, and continues to do so even now. Several times, Sleepy has found himself as Acting General of his squad, and he's risen to the occasion every single time. His recruiting abilities are otherworldly, but it makes sense given once of his mentors, DC. But that ability doesn't even begin to describe how seasoned and well versed Sleepy is in everything he finds himself involved with in KSI. Clan Ops, News, Education, Leadership Council, Graphics...he has the Midas touch! You would be hard pressed to find anyone throughout the entire community that hasn't heard his name at least once. People flock to him, and it's very easy to see why if you get the opportunity to spend some time around him. He has the hearts and minds of his squad, and I have no doubt he'll continue to do so throughout his journey in KSI. To name just a few of his accomplishments: Completed nearly all Security Checks for his squad on his own, completed nearly every single transfer to Calamity from Doom when Doom closed down, routinely brings in several recruits per week, routinely has 20+ member game nights, knocks out every promotion he can to ensure they don't go past due, and still finds time to train those around him. We started this year off in a bit of a rough patch with the closure of DM, but things turned around when we moved to CS. Stack came back through the ranks with a new drive and desire to be the best member and leader he possibly could. His actions this year prove that. Stack is one of the driving forces behind the success of Wrath, and he serves as a one-two punch with Merc to make things happen. His attention to detail and dedication to his duties are a big part of what makes them as successful as they are. This man makes it his mission to get to know every single person in his squad, as well as others. You'll always find him making his rounds through parties to introduce himself, or having a fun game or two if he's able. You can glance at our Discord chat at any given time, and Stack will always be one of the prominent names you see conversing with everyone. Sr Leader: KSI Swag 77 @KSI Swag 77 Mr. Pickles has been all over the community this year but his two biggest accomplishments are easily how well CS & ES are doing compared to when he first engaged with them. CS has grown to hover between 280-300 members since June/July and that's in no small part due to the groundwork Swag laid down and the policies that were implemented in CS. ES was way down on its luck when Swag first stepped in, a few months later ES completely turned around and won Fall Classic. Swag's ability to generate positive momentum in a Division is top tier & shows on every level of a Division when he works. As always, I'm looking forward to seeing what's next. Keep it up homie! It's shown in CS as I've watched those same leaders grow, mature, and evolve since we've started working together. Slick is a unseen but crucial part of how CS operates. His advice has always been helpful and worked out well. Now if only he'd expand his gametypes.. KSI Grogu 7, aka Shatner, is one of the select few who can make that claim. He undoubtedly is a fundamental necessity for CS. As the Division Leader of CS, I'm 1 person and can only do so much. Shatner is my right hand in CS, we work like peanut butter & jelly to help the squads of CS to flourish and grow. In his time as a Co-Founder, I've come to count on him more and more. He's the type of go-to guy that I wish we could clone so every Division would benefit from his experience and KSI expertise. Shatner has been a critical part of guiding the leaders of Rebellion, Wrath, & Calamity to expand and grow in knowledge and leadership skills as they seek to improve their squads. As a General, Shatner built Wrath into the golden example of what a squad could & should be. A powerhouse of sustainable growth, high quality leadership, & active members that are kind & welcoming. Since he has become a Co-Founder Shatner has begun to implement those virtues & ideals across the Division. CS has benefited greatly from his hard work and dedication. MercX has taken Wrath to new heights since becoming its General. He's built his officer staff into the stuff KSI Leadership dreams about every night. Wrath has set the CS record for most recruits in a 7-day span at 15. Not as 1 or 2 officers, but as an entire team the officers & POs worked together to make that number happen. Since July 15th, Wrath has had an impressive 66 recruits. This is how Merc has been able to grow his squad and find new officers to fill his staff with. Merc's done a phenomenal job leading Wrath to sustainable, long-term greatness as a squad. Don't stop now big fella! But Sleepy is also a bum-bastic Captain! Backpacking his squad for months as his fellow officers struggled from time management or (at times) lackluster work ethic. Sleepy has kept Calamity above water and moving forward. He's got the beginnings of a great officer core and all that's left is to build that comradery and chemistry that can only come with time. Sleepy always leads his squad by example and has become a stat sheeter who is second-to-none. Let me break down the stats for y'all. Since joining KSI in March 2021, Sleepy has performed 73 promotions, 42 transfers (primarily from that squad split he was a crucial part of), 65 recruits, 184 total stat chat posts, nearly 50 security checks, trained over a dozen POs or officers and been Acting General for about 3 months, despite only being a Captain for almost 7 months. He's donated $100s of dollars to fellow members in multiple squads & across Divisional lines. Sleepy became a well known figure & leader throughout the community as he joined & flourished in multiple departments/areas of the community. Sleepy is a member of News, LC, Education, and Graphics on top of being a reckoning force in Clan Ops. His work ethic, time management, and thirst for knowledge is first rate. Every once in a while there are leaders who show the drive, intelligence, work ethic, and innate ability to make it all the way to the top. Only time will tell if Sleepy will, but you'll be hard pressed to find anyone who thinks he can't make it happen. Groudon, as he more commonly known, has been on the forefront of training officers for his squad. Three of those people have made SSGT and another to Lieutenant, with two POs who are eager to do the same. All of them have been exceptionally trained and surprisingly knowledgeable about KSI overall & their specific duties as officers. His top tier training skills have been a critical key to helping his squad build out their officer core and continue their streak (hehe.. get it!?) of excellence. Awards: LT DOTM Nov 2021 LT OTM Oct 2021 SSGT DOTM Aug 2021 SGT: KSI Pastries 7 @KSI Pastries 7 "Listen here sonny!" said Grandpa Pastries. Despite being centuries old in KSI-years, everyone's favorite 4th SGT has been a fantastic member this year. He's helped old friends rejoin and make new homes in KSI. Pastries has helped host & cohost gamenights usually Halo or Golf w/ Friends and introduced fun new gamemodes to keep things fresh and exciting. He always helps to build the hype for annual events, participating in nearly every single event for the entire year! A CS party is never truly complete without Pastries there to liven the mood and make moth jokes (old people jokes ig..?) He's branched out and made friends with members across squad and divisional lines, introducing his squad to new ideas and ways of thinking. Pastries was also a welcomed addition to KSI's 10th anniversary podcast in September! A great friend and an phenomenal asset to KSI, Pastries is and forever shall be a KSI OG. Awards: Member OTM Oct 2021 Dedicated Devoted Weekend Warfare Winner Member: KSI T StackG @KSI T StackG The only person I know who can talk an endless amount of trash while getting crushed in a game, and only make sense for about 20% of it. Frankly we're fairly convinced Stack has invented a new version of English. Despite his occasional incoherent verbal diarrhea, Stack is one of the most beloved and cherished members of CS. A machine of an officer, it was a tough call where to put him for an OTY nomination. But easily a top flight member who's always down to game with anyone. He's organized Division-wide gamenights, been a great hype man for annual events, and been invaluable benefit to his squad. Stack has never truly sought power or higher ranks in KSI but is arguably more deserving of them than anyone else I know. This guy is a one man powerhouse of positivity, good vibes, & motivation that is unmatched throughout this community. If you have to pick a guy to build a squad from the ground up, Stack is your go-to guy. Awards: LT DOTM May 2021 Member DOTM Nov 2021 OS Level 1 2021 Donor Helping Hand Friendly Trainer Committed Dept Head: KSI Paradox 7 @Loyalty Paradox AAP has been a wild ride this year but through it all Paradox has always been helpful, polite, and positive despite any dubious circumstances thrown at him. As awarded countless awards and almost always in a timely fashion regardless of time zone or work schedule. While running AAP he's stepped up in his squad and hosted or cohosted several fun gamenights without being asked to. Paradox wanted to help his (at the time) struggling squad and did so. That level of dedication to all aspects of KSI can be difficult to find, but I'm glad to count Paradox as one of the few who still have it.
