SPIRIT WEEK 2021! Hello! We are proud to announce the official schedule for KSI's Spirit Week 2021! Spirit Week will be held Wednesday, June 23rd through Sunday, June 27th. Spirit Week is the largest event of the year, with the most competition and the largest prizes! As per every large event, there will be a schedule of events, a forums poll, and a scoring system to rank divisions in the order they finish. Prizes will be given out to winners as well as there being Lottery Drawings for even more prizes throughout the closing ceremony for anyone viewing! Spirit Week also brings the return of an event specifically for our Donors at the end of the weekend! A Co-Founder or higher in the division is responsible for posting the sign-ups. No other members should be posting the sign ups. The rosters can be changed up until the sign-ups close two hours before the event begins. All divisions will be allowed two teams per event. All members who compete must be documented on Omega before June 9th 2021. For any member that had a join/rejoin app in before June 9th but was recruited after, please reach out to KSI DropShot 7 and it will be discussed on a case-by-case basis. Any member recruited into KSI and entered into the CMS after June 9th will not be eligible to compete in the team-based events. They will be eligible for the Forums Poll and Donor's Event. **Captains Meeting and Discord** Like we did with Spring Break this year, Captains Meeting will be held on discord for all events except for Karaoke and Uno. When signing teams up, Divisional 7's staff will be asked to include the Team Captain's Discord username in the post. The team captain will then be added as a friend by KSI DropShot 7 on discord, and once accepted will be invited to the Annual Events Team Captains discord server. Please make sure that your captains are on the lookout for this friend request and accept/join the server in a timely manner. If there are any changes to who will be your team captain, please reach out to KSI DropShot 7 and let him know as soon as possible. Discord: DropShot 7#8689 **Donor Free-For-All** There will be a Donor-only event on Sunday, June 28th. Those who play in the Donor’s Free-For-All will be eligible to get one (1) participation point for their division, and the winner of the event will receive a special prize, to be determined. To be eligible, you must have the 2021 Donor Award on the Forums by the beginning of the event-Wednesday, June 23rd at 8 p.m. EST. To be able to receive the 2021 Donor Award, you must meet one of the following requirements: Donate $10 to the KSI Paypal. Subscribe to the KSILive twitch channel with a Tier 1 Subscription for two (2) separate months in the 2021 Calendar year. Subscribe to the KSILive twitch channel with a Tier 2 or Tier 3 Subscription for one (1) month in the 2021 Calendar year. Donate a minimum of 1000 bits to the KSILive twitch channel in the 2021 Calendar year. After meeting one of these requirements, you can apply for the Donor Award in the AAP section of the forums. **Prizes** Prizes for Spirit Week 2021 will be handed out to the top 3 placing divisions. Divisions placing in the top 3 will be able to select a variety to prizes, up to the prize amount that corresponds with their placement. Individual prizes will not be handed out. However, expect raffles during the streams throughout the week! 1st Place: $200 2nd Place: $150 3rd Place: $100 **Challenge Poll** There will be a Challenge Poll posted as part of the event in the Spirit Week Section of the forums. It will open at 8 p.m. EST on Wednesday and close at 6 p.m. EST on Sunday. Votes will count toward participation for divisions, and members must reply to the topic to receive the Spirit Week 2021 Award. **Divisional Cup** As with all of our Annual Events, the final standings of Spirit Week will contribute to the Divisional Cup standings. The division that has earned the most points across all Annual Events at the end of the year will be crowned as the 2021 Divisional Cup Winner at the awards show in January. **Scoring Guide** The final results for Spirit Week will be calculated based off both participation and placements in each event. For a division to get a participation point for the Challenge Poll, they must garner 20 votes in the poll. For the rest of the events, each team that shows up will receive one point each for their division. A division can earn a maximum of five (5) points for an event if both teams show up and one of the teams places first. If both teams place in the top 3, additional points will only be given for the highest placedteam. 1st = +3 points 2nd = +2 points 3rd = +1 point Participate = 1 point per team that participates.

Very rarely do I ever trust someone, but I knew from the first conversation I had with Merc that he was someone I could trust with my life. In my entire almost 20 years of online gaming, I've never met someone that I felt so confident about trust my entire life with. Merc is basically the mini me. He treats every situation fairly, and never hesitates to ask for advice. If it weren't for him, Wrath never would have survived the transition from DM to CS. Even as a LT, he acted like a CPT ready to be GEN from day one. I'll let the rest of y'all attest to how great he really is.

On Saturday, June 5th T&E will be hosting a Knockout City 3v3 . The event starts at 8:00pm EST, and sign-ups close promptly two hours before the event starts. (6:00pm EST.) All proxy post must be approved by KSI DropShot 7 or KSI Akame 7. Late signups will not be permitted. I can definitely attest that @KSI MercXis an outstanding member. He is one of the hardest working people in KSI today and has the passion and drive of no other. I remember when he was recruited into DM. I was helping host workshops after Romeo and Shockr left the community and the division was in need of help. Merc said that he was going to do whatever he could to help his squad/division out the gate. He changed his name immediately and then attended workshops before he was even promoted. He took the recruiting workshop with me when it was still in it's beta test form. He took everything I said that Wednesday and by Friday he had already recruited 3 people and was cleared to recruit on his own. Ever since then he has done nothing but benefit KSI. He is always recruiting, hosting workshops/game nights/hanging with members. He is truly what you want to see in every officer within KSI. He is a great model of what officer should do and the standard they should be held to by their peers. He cares so much about the success of the community that he goes out of his way to host workshops for members in different squads within his division just so that they are certified to become an officer (and give members a different perspective on some of the workshops from his personal experiences). After DM closed down he was a key factor in helping transfer members to CS and he continued to better the division with his willingness to learn, helping others and need, and bringing positivity and morale into his squad/division. Merc is definitely an amazing Captain, but he is more than that. He is an amazing person who is willing to befriend anyone. Merc is there for all members within KSI and he is an exemplary member who models No KSI member left behind better than most. Merc is a powerhouse within Wrath CS, and I know for a fact he is going to go far into this community. For these reasons I believe that KSI MercX deserves OS LVL 1.
